La Renta Center Hotel & Spa — Hotel in Hà Nội

We booked this place on agoda the night before staying so didn’t get too much time to read the reviews however I wish we had. Online we booked a deluxe double or twin room which specifies “city view” & advertises a window on the photos. We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by kim- she was lovely and did try to help our issue as best as possible. She however informed us she was going to put us on 6th floor as there is a nightclub next door & we needed to be up at 6am. The nightclub is not advertised online so just keep this in mind. She also told us this room had no window. This obviously concerned us as online we paid extra for a window, however she said that room type didn’t include window view. She said we needed to put our complaint through with agoda. As we started the process of this we heard another man going through the same situation. Kim then said she could put us in a window room however we would have to wait until 6pm to check in as people were in the room which we said was fine. Comes around to 6:30pm and we go back to the hotel to check in , we have to wait till near enough 7pm before we get taken to the room. We were put into “vip” room 401. The room looked absolutely NOTHING like the pictures advertised online and this was definitely false advertisement. Upon inspecting the room there was a dirty empty loo roll behind the toilet and no fresh loo roll out for us, rubbish on the floor next to the bin, bin smelt of fish and didn’t work, hard bed, dirty towel on the floor &just dirty everywhere. We also had 2 toothbrushes as complimentary however when i went to use mine it was already ripped open as someone had taken the toothpaste out of it. I went straight down to reception to speak to kim who said the room will be cleaned when we go out for dinner. At this point it’s near enough 8pm now, and surely we waited all day to check in the room would’ve been cleaned which it definitely wasn’t. We went for dinner & came back to the room, the only things that had been sorted was the rubbish on the floor and a fresh loo roll. The shower was attached in the sink which is definitely not on the photos we booked otherwise we wouldn’t of booked it. We didn’t get to sleep until 4am as our room which vibrating from the club. Even when we left the hotel at 6:45am the music was still going. Overall this hotel is definitely not worth the money, it’s extremely false advertised and i would put your...

It gets loud at night up until around 4am/5am -but even then it seems like the club next door just turns down the music and is still open for a few more hours?.

If you didn't read reviews beforehand then that's on you! I brought my own earplugs but they have them at the front desk as well. Caveat is that even with my NRR -25db earplugs I could still physically feel the bass vibrating the bed and walls. It's not too terribly bad if you are into EDM but kind of annoying if you have an early flight the next morning.

Staff were all super nice and friendly. Only the younger fellow speaks English semi-fluently. Location is pretty much in the thick of things within the Old Quarter, so tons of restaurants/bars nearby. A Grab motorcycle to the museums is also super cheap.

The club next door has three floors, with different genres of music, but funnily enough there wasn't any bleed-over with the bass. Depending on what floor you are staying on (I stayed in room 402 and I think 201) -you will be hearing different baselines throughout the night. The club on the fourth floor next door had an mc hyping up the crowd -which I thought was annoying.

Don't stay here if you want peace and quiet. Stay here if you are out all day/night and are only really using the spot to crash out at.

Bathroom on the fourth floor was abit more modern than the second floor room I stayed at.

Also I thought the towels stank -I had them switch them out and the replacement also stank. But the guy pulled them straight out of the towel delivery bag -so it's not the hotel but whoever they use to wash the towels aren't doing a very good job. There's several laundromats...

Hi, This is a BIG FRAUD hotel. We booked 2 rooms in this hotel for a night (7/11/2025) through Goibibo . When we went to check in he denied to give rooms. Rooms are full Coz he already given our rooms to someone else. But we booked the hotel 2 days before and made the payment also. we shows the booking confirmation and payment details. he was telling you didn’t pay us so you go and talk to Goibibo. And one more thing he said we didn’t have any tieup with Goibibo we will take a booking through booking.com and agoda. Then we asked then how come your hotel name showing in Goibibo. He said I didn’t heard the Goibibo name I don’t knw about that you go and ask Goibibo team like that … then we put the luggage there and 2 of us went to search for the hotel near by… with in half an hour one foreigner came he dose the same thing with him also actually he made the booking through agoda. Even foreigner booked the room through agoda he didn’t gave room. This ( La Renta Center Hotel & Spa) is a VERY BIG FRAUD HOTEL U have a option in the reviews like HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YHE HOTEL??
