Serene Impression Spa — Local services in Hà Nội

in a country where there are a lot of fake reviews, i feels important to leave an honest one.

not sure how Serene Spa is as highly rated as it is.

reception: receptionist was lovely, thorough in going through the treatments. however, the floor (?) sprung a leak while i was in the waiting and suddenly it got loud and chaotic. there are guests in the reception area seeking serenity, but it was not.

massage room: room is tired looking and dated, but overall well maintained. the towels used are not dried properly and have an unpleasant musky smell. if you’re unfortunate to get the room facing the street, you will here the persistent traffic noise outside and no amount of increasing the volume of ambient music is going to calm you down.

treatments: i got the jet lag spa package. it was okay. the therapist kept checking in with me on the pressure, but clearly was not experienced enough to identify all the right acupressure points.

Had a very nice relaxing massage experience doing the hot stone massage and facial (perfect 90) package. (1280,000 vnd) I indicated more emphasis for the shoulder area and it was clear that my therapist Anna made sure to put more strength of the shoulders. The staff were all very polite and spoke good English. Was given an option to shower before the massage, which allowed me to feel fresh before I start the session.
