Its not a 4 or 5 star but for those you pay also triple. If you know the difference between shiny 5 star looks and cleanliness, then you can see that its kept clean, even if it is not a new hotel. Staff is very friendly. Place is in a quiet side street. Can sleep at night despite being close to bui vien. Can buy water right at the hotel. The hotel is just a relatively short walk away from a number of major sights and nice coffee shops etc. So convenient in that regard. Only negative for me would be the noise on the street below. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday so maybe that was it, but very noisy groups of people in the alleyway below well into the early hours, which really disrupted my sleep. Stall was really friendly, and helped us beyond his scope of duty. The complimentary breakfast really exceeded my expectation (try the fried noodles)
