Read moreSo there was problems from the start. But nothing to make me write a review. There is no elevator. They couldn’t find my booking at 1st. The AC didn’t work and had to wait maybe 10 minutes. It’s a bit tacky and noticed a few guys just lying around on sofas. The AC isn’t very strong but there was a fan in the room too so I was trying to cool down. The power went out so I went down stairs and they said 30 minutes and someone will fix so I left. I came back and they said it was fuxed and is was the only building. Ok. 30 minutes later and the power goes out again. Not light no Internet no AC. I go down stairs and went for a walk. When I came back the guy that worked there switched the breaker and it worked again. I guess the breaker they got can’t handle all the rooms using AC. After the next time I told them I want to change hotels and a refund. I’ll be back in a minute. But the hotel across was booked full so I wasn’t going to change. But when I got back they said they asked the boss and she won’t refund. The power went out 6 times while I was in that room. They finally changed me to the building next door which didn’t lose power. But the internet went down 2 more times. When I went to use the toilet it didn’t flush. Anyways I won’t stay there again. I wouldn’t of wrote this review but when they said they can’t refund such a bad experience I knew...
Read moreI would not recommend this hostel ESPECIALLY as a solo traveller. The price was good and the staff were extremely approachable. However when we arrived as a group of 5 in a 6 bed dorm we were expecting to share a bathroom with one stranger. However the hostel workers would not let us lock our hostel door and made our room a free for all toilet and locker area for the other rooms. This meant that late at night and in the early hours of the morning we were woken up by other guests at the hostel making it near impossible to get a full undisturbed 6 hours sleep. One of the hostel workers also slept in our room and showered at 2am, others guests at the hostel also had free use of our “ensuite bathroom” and used it at 2-3am also. On the 3rd night here my towel and blanket were both removed from my bunk meaning I slept in the cold of the room with my broken curtain meaning the strangers entering our room could see me sleeping with no blanket. I also had no towel to shower. Genuinely laughed at night as otherwise I’d cry. Good location and nice staff which is the only reason for 2 stars however changes needed for a...
