5-star (Vietnamese milk coffee) Strong but not as sweet as the local coffee shop

3.5-star (Vietnamese Milk Tea with Mangos) Special but nothing to shout about. Drinks taste sweet but the mangos slice fruit taste bland, probably due to the glucose already dissolved in the drink. Jelly inside taste great.

3.5-star (Bahn Mi Cha & Xa Xiu) Nicely done, crispy (abit hard actually) crust and proportionate share of meat and vege.

4-star (Banh Cheese Cake) Sweet and lots of poppy seeds with strong cheese taste. Very small bite size for all their cakes but good if U wish to a few varieties.

3-star (Tiramisu Cake) Nothing to shout about, regular tiramisu with not much mousse/ alcohol taste...

Venue: Quite uncomfortable as the temperature of the air conditioner was not cold enough. I was sweating all throughout our stay. It was not a conducive place to do some of my writing as I am distracted by the neighboring costumers because the tables are close to each other. The restroom was not well kept as the trash bin was already full and the soap was already empty. There was also no bidet.

Service: staff were nice and caring towards the costumers. Nothing negative to say about them as they are really adamant to do their job. What puzzles me the most though was even though I was not yet done eating/drinking, they are clearing out my table already.

Taste: the drinks were fine, but in my opinion, the cakes were a little bit too sweet.

Highlands Coffee is a fantastic spot if you're looking for an authentic coffee experience! The place is easy to get to; I could just walk over from my homestay using the pedestrian path. The café itself is clean, neat, and tidy, which makes it a pleasant spot to relax.

The staff here are kind and very informative, always ready to help with any questions. The location is super strategic, right near the walking street area and close to various tour services. It’s a great place to hang out if you’re waiting for a tour or just want to soak in the local vibe.
