What a great place to start off our long vacation travelling around Vietnam. First impressions were fantastic, the location was ideal. The gentleman who greeted us was very friendly spoke very well and was incredibly informative and helpful throughout our short stay. Lobby, elevator and room were incredibly clean, not what we were expecting from reading about Ho Chi Minh or other cities in Vietnam. Room was small but surprisingly spacious. Everything fit well. Bed was comfortable but would recommend to update them soon as the mattresses are spring mattresses so quite hard on the back. An extra pillow or two to have would be nice also. We didnât check out the food or the roof top as we werenât aware until our last day but I wouldnât be surprised if it meets my standards. There are many places to eat, party, relax or even just explore here. Honestly canât fault it over all. The lovely lady that takes over at night was also amazing, she was happy to assist with every need. Even one late night we had a silly question about luggage I think it was 2 am and she was so lovely and lively at that hour....
Read moreI stayed three nights at this lovely family owned hotel, located in an alley which keeps the traffic noise at bay. The rooms are modern and very clean. My room had a large window looking out on neighboring buildings which I found very charming. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the rooms have air conditioning. The lighting was pleasing as well. Modern bathroom with shower. While there isn't a restaurant on the premises, there are plenty of places just a few steps away where you can get good Vietnamese food. There are many tourist sites within walking distance, but if you're not a big walker, it is easy to get anywhere by Grab or taxi. The best thing about the Louis Hotel is the family that owns and operates it. They were friendly and accomodating despite my lack of being able to speak Vietnamese. I would stay here again should I find myself in Ho Chi...
Read moreReally loved our stay here for 3-4 nights! Hotel is located in a safe and quiet alley near bui vien walking street. Many top attractions are also in walking distance from hotel.
Rooms are extremely clean (with no mold at all, toilets sparkling clean, even the edges near the floor are all clean & I like that we had to take off our shoes before entering the reception to ensure that the place is really clean) and rooms are more than sufficiently spacious! There is an elevator & the room has all the necessities - air conditioner, fan, wardrobe, table, toiletries, and water heater etc.
There is even a cute and cozy rooftop to relax at! Also, the staff speaks English really well & are friendly and helpful to guests. Definitely recommend this...
