The booking was for two nights December 13th & 14th. I messaged the property upon my arrival in HCM. I was replying upon free WIFI. Agoda's system does not allow for direct property/customer contact!!!The booked property was difficult to locate, and when located nobody was there. After 15 minutes My luggage and I went to find a free wifi. Contact with the property confirmed they were there. I returned where somebody gave me access to the foyer. Nobody there. 40 minutes later I found a wifi/password and called the property again, & it was realised then that the property management had changed the location with notification to staff or myself! Two hours have now elapsed, and instead of a warm, cosy minimalist room (which I like and booked) I got a large drab apartment. ||The internet didn't work and nor did Netflix which they advertised, and because it was Friday night, nothing could be done until Monday, by which time I have checked out!||The toilet was hard against the wall and impossible to sit upon normally. There was a kettle and microwave oven, a bowl and plate BUT NO cups or glasses to drink with.||With no internet or television, I complained which did nothing. I asked for a full refund as I had been in the property less than two hours and it was as per advertising. Refused. They did offer one night's refund, so i decided to stay until checkout time the next day. I ended up staying the extra time as I became unwell. Neither the Property Management nor Agoda at any time took seriously the inconvenience, frustration and ultimately the ruining of my final few days in Saigon.
