Papaya Hotel — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Unscrupulous dishonest and deceitful host / establishment. (@ Amy Nguyen) After confirming my booking & arrival time multiple times in communication, I was at check-in was taken away to anther hotel. It was awfully dirty and substandard place not at all, or even close all what i booked. Located on the worst street imaginable with night clubs music going until 4am, 1000s of drunk tourist etc. I didn't sleep at all.

I expressed my serious unhappiness with the situation i was forced into, multiple excuses were offered, these changed over time, which makes it hard to believe.

After significant pressure from me, i was moved to the place i booked. Got shoved into a windowless / airless room next to the lift shaft. At least it was clean and remotely resembles the pictures.

The Papaya hotel spoilt my time in...

I really am enjoying my stay here. Each room has its own WiFi router and the speeds are really fast. 500mb+ download speeds. I've been here 12 days, and extended my stay to 45 days. Amy is really helpful and yeah, I really have no complaints about this place. It's far enough from the clubs so that you can't hear any of the loud music at night, but its close enough so you could walk there in 5 minutes. The Family Room is excellent! Everything in the room is clean (toilet, beddings, towels, slippers, cabinets). All staff are very friendly, approchable and accommodating.
