Burger King - Pham Ngu Lao — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Comparing to other BKs...

The service was actually faster than usual, despite the 1st floor being pretty full (I was the only one on 2nd when I started.. couple others came up by the time I finished). Faster than my experience at the Thảo Điền location (only a couple times over a year and a half). This was the first time trying this location.

I feel it was almost too quick because the burgers weren't very warm. I would have put them in the microwave had I gotten take-out.

The place was clean (including sink area).

Tried the temporary bacon burgers... Whopper BBQ Bacon & Cheese (175K/$6.85 for the combo), Double BBQ Bacon & Cheese (105K/$4.10), and a cheese ring (60K/$2.35).

The Whopper ver. was better as it had lettuce, onion & tomato. The double buger was almost too meaty. I think the patties (not being very wam & maybe the beef source) aren't quite as good as Korea, which may be better or worse than in America... BK Vietnam, in general, is okay.

I wish I would have been able to try the BK Vietnam salmon sandwich from a year and a half ago.

The cheese rings were ok... not like traditional mozzarella sticks that usually come with marinara sauce. The cheese is almost cream cheese, tasting and a little more like paste and not melted...

Just entered Burger King to buy my dinner. Ordered a triple cheeseburger combo. The staff attending to my order didn’t seem enthusiastic or happy. Order came and the cheeseburger was cold. I called the staff and told him the burger was cold. He put his bare hand on the cheeseburger and took it away. To my dismay and utter shock he brought the same cheeseburger back micro waved. This time I couldn’t even see the cheese on the burger. It had become a liquid and the cheeseburger was not replaced by a new one. What a joke Burger King. The staff touched my cheeseburger with his hand and brought me back the same burger. I will not be eating here anymore nor do I recommend ...

This review is for the Burger King joint in Vietnam. I'm assuming all of them are around the same quality. That being said, I would give this burger king a 10/10. I'm very picky with food, but if you come here for a burger, you will leave delightfully satisfied. Compared to the Burger King's in the US, the ones in Vietnam have that quality you cant find in the states. Most notably, I cant taste anything artificial in the food. To top it off, the workers here use gloves for everything. Sanitation is a problem in Vietnam, so the gloves being worn were a fresh breath of air.
