🛎️ Reception & Check-in/Check-out: 8/10 The welcome was warm upon arrival and consistent throughout the stay, both from the owner and his family. A real plus. The only major drawback: having to wake the caretaker at night to go out, which can be annoying, especially if the person on duty is unfriendly.

🧹 Overall Cleanliness: 8/10 The premises are clean, both the room and the common areas. Note: the noise of housekeeping in the morning can disturb those who want to rest longer.

My partner and I returned to this area of Saigon to spend a few days here before our flight departed. Having already stayed in the area we are familiar with the style of guest houses here. How happy we are to have found Vy’s place! Such an amazing experience. The rooms are very clean, with great natural light, hot water and adequate outlets. WiFi worked fine when we were there. The location is excellent. Tucked into an alleyway, it is close to the action of the city without the sound keeping you awake at night. Accommodation was easily 10/10, what really sets Vy’s guesthouse high above the rest is the amazing hospitality Vy and her family show. Upon arriving, you are greeted with a kind smile and delicious welcome drink (when we were there it was a limeade style of drink), we checked in very late and nevertheless were treated to such kindness and efficient explanations of food and attractions in the city (vy provides you her own custom created map). Each morning we were treated to authentic Vietnamese coffee, delicious! Vy was there to help us with whatever we needed, even exchanging $2 USD late at night when we had one last pho craving and didn’t have any dong left! We arranged the taxi through her, we were so glad we did so as we left our water bottle there and Vy realized this very quickly, and contacted our driver to stop and wait while she came on scooter to deliver our forgotten item :) Vy is also very helpful and easy to contact before your arrival; she sends a welcome email with great information and responds quickly to questions. be prepared to be treated like part of the family, you will be well taken care of! I stayed here for about a month and it was truly wonderful! I would highly recommend this guesthouse to you. They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and nice as possible. Vy and her family are very generous, invited me for some meals (their food is so good), showed me around, gave me fruit, and even invited me for some birthday cake from Vy's father's birthday.||||The rooms are a very nice size and very comfortable. There is even a safe box for your valuables and little fridge to use. Toothbrushes, soaps and shampoo in little packages were found on top of the fridge. The towels were so nice (they are the kind that dry really easy) She even has a curtain dividing the toilet and shower with the purpose of thinking of guests who may not be used to having water on the toilet after you shower.||||Since it was rainy season, there was always umbrellas to use. She left toilet paper by my room to make sure I always had enough.||||The place is so clean all the time. The cleaning lady is so kind as well, works so hard and very friendly. After she cleans it was so perfect! ||||Vy has a laundry and airport service as well. Everything is so convenient! The airport return trip was also wonderful and so punctual.||||Their is a little restaurant that Vy recommended to me across from Funny Laundry that has amazing food. Its a local restaurant with local prices and the lady is so honest and kind. I went there sometimes 2x daily.||||Exceptional place with amazing hospitality and a love for people!
