Planet Homestay — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

I PROMISE YOU, YOU DONT WANT TO BOOK HERE Complete SCAM/FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, nothing like the pictures extremely dirty & not kept up. Look at photos ROOM 201 DISGUSTING we walked in and immediately checked out THEY DID NOT REFUND US OUR MONEY.

THIS IS PLANET HOMESTAY A PART OF PLANET SAIGON HOTEL

We checked in at Planet Saigon Hotel but the moved us to planet homestay their “other hotel” not even the hotel we booked because our original room was “having problems”

They gave us room 201 in their home stay a couple store fronts down, there is no lobby the store front is a nail salon.

We were “upgraded” because our original room was having problems.

201 the door does not secure. You can lock it but the door does not full close. You could push in from the outside and the door would open.

The lobby, room smelled of humidity/mold, the shower door was dirty and the A/C was as well. You could see inside the a/c because the vent was broken.

The mattress was rock hard & over all it just felt very nasty.

We’ve been budget traveling south east Asia 3 months now and I have yet to see a place as bad as this and that includes hostels in Ha Giang.

The area was good because you were close to the action, but the alley they were located in seemed kind of sketchy.

I have never felt the need to leave a review when I didn’t enjoy services, a hotel, etc. all of my reviews are usually honest and 5 stars but I had to inform everyone so no one else gets scammed

There are only 26 reviews including mine it’s obvious the 5 star reviews are employees and friends of the owner.

Estoy actualmente aquí. La habitación es un desastre. La mayoría de lámparas y bombillas están quitadas y con los cables colgando de la pared. No hay cortinas de ducha y se inunda todo el baño. El primer día no había agua caliente. El secador de pelo DE PARED está en un cajón y tienes que llevar el secador con su soporte al baño y sujetar el soporte de pared con una mano mientras te secas el pelo con la otra. El balcón es un cubículo con un taburete. La nevera está sucia. El wifi casi no funciona. Lo único que funciona bien es el AC y está muy sucio. Accedes por un salón de manicura en otro edificio ????

Y no hubiera puesto ninguna reseña (ni buena ni mala) si no fuera porque además te tratan de tonta.

He dejado ropa para lavar hoy a las 9 am. Me han dicho de pasar a buscarla a las 19h. He ido a las 20 h y me dicen que mi bolsa no me la dan porque es de otro cliente. Todo esto con traductor, porque los chicos que había en ese turno no hablan ni un básico de inglés. Les digo que la bolsa es mía. Me dicen que me la llevan en 5 minutos. Les digo que me voy a cenar. Ellos me dicen que me la traen mañana. Yo les digo que me voy de excursión. Les pregunto todo el tiempo que qué problema hay y no hay manera de que me contesten. Les digo la marca de la bolsa, lo que hay dentro... y me dicen que me traen en 2 horas y media mi bolsa con mi ropa (antes eran 5 minutos). En fin, después de mucho tira y afloja, la bolsa que era de otro cliente (según ellos) SÍ que era mía, pero no habían lavado la ropa. Me la he llevado y he acabado lavandola a mano.
