Absolutely the worst experience I ever had at a place I thought was a fine dining. The broken down Pad Thai did not taste anything like Pad Thai. Not to mention that our foods came out in waves with 10mins between dishes that was supposed to personal! Horrible coordination between the kitchen chef! Or should I say, there was no structure at all!?
For instance, we ordered Chicken Skewer as an appetizer that did not come out until 15 later not to mention that the chicken was burnt and dry. My broken Pad Thai came out quickly but I wanted to wait for my party to receive their foods before eating. However, that was the worst mistake I made as my Pad Thai had turned cold because my next party didn’t come out til 10mins later (Pineapple fried rice). Follows by our appetizer chicken skewer (5mins after the pineapple fried rice). Like come on! If your kitchen chef need more time for the main dishes, why not bring out the appetizer first?
Furthermore, we still have 3 more main dishes that took 10mins for each of the dish to come out. THAT’S 30mins wait in total for our last dish to arrive which was the Pad Se Ewe! HORRIBLE!! And let’s me remind you, by this time, the restaurant was downsize to half in customer traffic but still WE HAD TO WAIT 30MINS. Not to mention that we have to remind the staff to bring out our dessert that was promised by the waitress to be brought out at the end meal.
Our waitress Thanh Van was very patients with our frustration and bravo to her because we was about to walk out and cancelled the remaining...
Read moreI was surprised to see this place rated 3.8 — in my opinion, it should be lower. I’ve dined here several times before, but unfortunately this will be my last visit. The food service continues to be very slow, and the overall experience has not improved.
On this occasion, I was seated inside near the elevator. One of the servers, dressed in Thai uniform, repeatedly turned her back to the customers and never made eye contact, which felt quite dismissive. When we asked about the plain rice that was supposed to accompany the curry, I received no response. After waiting far too long, we decided to cancel the remaining dishes ourselves. Just as another staff member brought food to the table, the server dropped it off without a word, muttered something under her breath, and then removed it again — with an unnecessarily unfriendly attitude.
When I went to the cashier, the manager even chose to argue rather than listen to my concerns. This level of customer service is very disappointing. I don’t spend money to be treated this way, and I will not...
Read moreLovely dining area, better than some other close som thai locations, nice staff and food comes pretty quick. Located in tagashimaya shopping centre on level 5 with lots of other dining options (level B2 is also worth checking out if you love food). They have a vegetarian menu at the back as well, great menu variety overall. A lot of seafood options too. They also provide a complimentary snack of sauce and raw vegies so you can snack as you peruse the menu. Ordered the stir fried choko leaves (crunchy and nice chunks of fried garlic), vege pad Thai (delicious, great serving too), stirfried mushrooms and veg (standout dish), egg fried rice (great to combine with saucy dishes) and son in law eggs (amazing, I could eat a whole plate of these, cooked perfectly with a gooey yolk and crisp outer). Drinks very reasonably priced (alcoholic and non) and everything came out looking great. Paid less than other restaurants in district 1 and we ate heaps (350vnd for all that and a drink). Plus no...
