107 APARTMENTS MARGARET RIVER — Local services in Margaret River

Totally disappointed in this place. The host/waitress who seated us was very unwelcoming and continued with her disinterested style the whole way through. The other waitress had obviously only recently started here and also had next to no experience in waitressing but that is mostly an indication of poor management in not training her to a higher level as she did not know the basics about the menu or the trade at all. That absolutely rests on the managements head.

Then the food was just not great at all and certainly not worth the money. Terrible carpaccio which although it was wagu, it was still far too fatty and chewy and completely covered in a mountain of rocket and parmesan. The shared ribeye was the worst I have ever tried, far too tough and no steak knives provided and in fact the used cutlery from our entree was placed off our used entree plates and back onto a bare table without a napkin underneath so maybe they do not even have steak knives which must be why the ribeye was cut into small strips by the chef?

We dine out a lot in many varying venues and this is one of the most disappointing and poor value experiences either of us have ever had anywhere!

I do not recommend unless major change and improvement is implemented but that would take Gordan...

Terrible!!! We stayed in the apartments and not only the pictures were misleading, the apartments are VERY RUN DOWN... no window to open for the fresh air, pretty much sitting in a box. Huge stain on the wall from the bathroom which look like it developing the mould. Very old smell in the room, feels like someone peed on the carpet and left it there. Dust on the bed side tables, bath tub is yellow colour, wouldn’t even use that... the toaster looks like it would get on fire if I turn it on, black and not clean.... the Blinds have to be rolled down otherwise you can be seen by neighbors walking in the main corridor. The blinds have multiple stains including dead bugs on them. The freezer smells and over frozen, such a shame. The carpets have multiple stains. The worst bit is that the same key which opens the gate can open the apartment door, the question is... anyone staying in the apartment can open your door, so can’t leave my valuables in the apartment either. For the price of one night $216, I cannot believe I got this “deal”.... we stayed in multiple locations in Margaret river, but this one is the WORST EVER. Such a shame 107...

I wish I had of read the reviews for this property before booking! We have stayed at this property about four years ago and it was fantastic so decided to book five nights there again this week.. LUCKILY I booked through booking.com, because when it came to having to change our booking and try contact these people, it’s simply impossible. Phone just goes to voicemail, left countless messages and texts. Called the restaurant (lovely to deal with!) who commented they get people calling all the time with same issue (accommodation not owned by Elkamo anymore) gave me another number to try - this number is just switched off. Booking.com couldn’t even reach them. With no way of knowing if we would have somewhere to sleep arriving at night, no check in details - I was able to cancel free of charge thankfully after calling booking.com who could see how many times I had tried to contact these people. Very frustrating and poor Management. With only two days out from arriving, of course Margs and surrounds is fully booked - leaving not much accommodation to stay in. What a joke. Just...
