Levi's Outlet Store - South Wharf — Local services in Melbourne

I would like any superior staff to try to explain to me why all of the girls who worked today 23-Jan-23 were continuously following me within the store, questioning me, and even dare to take away from my hands the piece of clothes I was holding, and put them behind the counter so I could go pay for them when I was done checking the store. Like if that wouldn’t have been enough, when I come to the register to pay (exchange) the pair of shorts they took away from me. The lady proceeds again to question me TWICE if I had paid for the other pair of shorts I had in my paper bag, paper bag that I had with me since the minute I walked in. (I exchanged those pair for the ones she took away from me). I wonder if they are this careful with all customers who visit this location or they decided to be “extra” careful with me? Maybe because I’m not white? Or because I’m not Australian? Or the way I dressed today? Or perhaps their discriminatory attitudes towards foreigns and POC are merely congenital… Anyways, it wasn’t a very nice experience and I hope I don’t have to come back to this location and see those...

The guy Chris, whom I understand is the store manager, is promoted beyond his people skill level. One of the most unhelpful retailers I've encountered for many years. Knew exactly what I wanted as I'd been in the day before and wished to pay over the phone and pick up next time in Melbourne as live 400 KMs away...but no that was all too hard and this won't be there and you should gave bought it yesterday etc. and you WILL miss out.🤬

It's my first time to post a comment cuz I felt so bad here. I never seen such an unprofessional shop service. Many stuffs were busy chatting with each other loudly, fixing their hair, knowing nothing being asked the price. When I asked one girl where to find some styles, she just pulled a pair of pants to me 'try this' fixing her hair, with long face. When I asked the girl serving the fitting room to help me find my size, she suddenly went to greet a white lady breaking my question while there is another staff available to serve others....
