The best cooked goat in the last 15 years I’ve had in a restaurant across Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne. Goat is not easy to cook and that shows the right care and restraint by the chef. The Khasi ko Masu (slow cooked goat with aromatic spices) is tender, falls of the bone, right thick gravy for rice or bread or on its own (which I was delightfully slurping up) and deliciously spiced up. The chicken biryani was flavourful and sufficient for the two of us. Very thoughtfully prepared. We also were treated to their special sweet that’s still to appear on the menu - yet-to-be named dish that is a take on the Dubai Chocolate. The pista kulfi is really very delish and a must have. But was mostly blew us away was the staff, their polite exuberance and welcoming atmosphere which speaks volumes in reflection of how the place functions from top down. Most other places have staff that do what they have to and not because they love working there. So def lot of love and respect from the owners. Thank you to Ishika and her team for taking care of us tonight and the evening made more memorable with amazing originals from the young duo band - Advaith and Sampreet!

Incredible Experience at the Pre-Opening Event! I was lucky enough to attend the pre-opening event at The Summit Club, and I’m beyond impressed. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming, and the owner and staff made us feel right at home. The restaurant’s decor is stunning, with beautiful traditional touches that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options, with the outdoor area being perfect for evening dining facing the Yarra river. The food was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Every dish was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. A truly satisfying culinary experience worth repeating. The chef and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, even though it was a soft opening. They took the time to explain the dishes and made sure everything was perfect. Overall, I’m really excited for this restaurant to officially open – it’s an absolute gem for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food lovers with the owners giving importance to every detail, be it food or the ambiance. I’ll definitely be back!

Had dinner at The Summit Club in South Wharf and it was absolutely spot on. The food was full of flavour and really satisfying — we ordered the Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Coconut Prawn Curry, and every dish was a standout. The Rogan Josh was beautifully cooked with tender meat and a rich, spiced sauce. The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and full of flavour without being too heavy, and the Coconut Prawn Curry had the perfect balance of coconut and spice — so fresh and fragrant. The prices were really reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and the service was warm and friendly. It’s definitely the kind of place you’ll want to come back to when you’re craving a great Indian meal. Highly recommend.

Finally, an excellent Indian restaurant in town! Far too many of them have pre-cooked slop and charge $30 for a couple of chicken thighs in a gloopy sauce. This place is outstanding. The building and vibe itself is modern and industrial. Plenty of comfy window seats and the ability of them to cater for larger groups due to the flexible layout. Nice long bar with good drinks. Staff are fantastic, friendly and not too “in your face” but there when you need something. The food? Just amazing. Every dish cooked fresh. Fluffy rice and breads. Keema naan just out of this world. The house Nepalese chicken dish and the Goan curry are my favourites. The tandoori meats and fish also beats hands down any other Indian restaurant I’ve been to in Australia - and I love my Indian food. The price is so reasonable in this cost of living era. Mains from $20! I’ve been here quite a few times and every time hits the spot. I really hope this new place does well as it more than deserves it. I’m so happy this place is around the corner...
