The Food Hall inside Queen Victoria Market is a must-visit spot for food lovers! There are so many choices — from coffee and pastries to deli meats, cheese, and local specialties.

We tried: • Market Lane Coffee – famous specialty coffee and Cascara Tea ☕ • Cacao Artisans of Melbourne – beautifully made pastries, a bit sweet for our taste but nice and flaky 🥐 • Biltong from one of the deli shops – tasty and full of flavour, though a bit expensive 💰

Think of this place as an upmarket food court. Generally more expensive than the other food options at the market but you can sit down. There is a good range of food provided with Drums (Sri Lankan) being the highlight. It is constantly being cleaned so much so I would say it is cleaner than the massive food court at Melbourne Central. I have to say I have been in here more then a few times and tried different things and each time i have been disappointed. For one the prices are not great compared to the portion sizes you get, almost all of the shops are cash only, which is a real pain in the butt in 2016.
