From items in caskets and woven baskets, to pots and pans to soups in cans, from sweet treats to fresh meats, rice, vegetables and frozen fish, to sauces and spices to flavor your dish, if you are looking for something to whip up stunning Asian cuisine, then Trans Emporium is the place to go.

I like the place, prices are good, and there are all types of products available from many Asian countries. It is not overtly tidy or visually appealing inside, it's a bit of a cross between a supermarket and a warehouse, I feel it set up more to cater for bulk purchases for small restaurants etc but willing to sell to families/individuals at the same time.

I do find the staff interesting, the ladies on the checkout seem sour and kind of grunt in your general direction rather than engage in any sort conversation, or at least that was my experience. I am not sure of the reason for this. it could be a language barrier issue, or it could just be that they are busy with no time for pleasantries ,whatever the reason, it doesn't matter, I was there to purchase products, not make friends, although a smile and pleasent verbal exchange would go a long way to enhance the experience.

I went there yesterday and shop $80. Very bad customer services. An aunty that seems to be the owner wants to be a cashier but when I was about to pay she ignored me completely and busy with her papers at the cashier's place. I went to the other cashier's boot and no one there. I asked the owner's son to help me, he called the other cashier that was taking a break. This cashier served me. Tried to purchase wholesale from these guys to supply my bakeries. called ahead to confirm stock availability. Got there and found no stock for half the items. Owner walked away from me shaking his head, while we're discussing wholesale supply. Tried to sell me at retail price, tried to negotiate but would not even discuss. Waited 45min to discover my order was not even being actioned. Left empty handed after driving 2 hours to visit. As a wholesaler these guys are rubbish, I won't...
