I recently visited Little Bird Cafe and Restaurant in Northbridge, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with charming decor and a cosy ambience.

The menu at Little Bird Cafe is diverse and creative, offering a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I decided to try their brunch special and was not disappointed. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and it was evident that a lot of care and attention went into the preparation of each dish.

The coffee at Little Bird Cafe is also exceptional. Rich, aromatic, and expertly brewed, it was the perfect complement to my meal. I also appreciated the variety of other drink options available, including freshly squeezed juices and speciality teas.

The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that I had a pleasant dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations.

My local, My favourite, My go to, my only recommendation to anybody who asks me where there is a good cafe!

Not anymore!

I entered the cafe today and approached a lovely girl and asked “sorry are you guys still open?” She politely replied yes we are open until 2pm, great I thought to myself as it is 1pm!

As I was standing there holding a menu in my hand and daydreaming a man came out of the kitchen straight to me “kitchen is closed you can only choose from the display cabinet” it took me a moment to realise he was talking to me but when I did I replied that’s ok because I’m in the humour for a wrap today, can you tell me what’s on that wrap there please as I pointed to the one I was asking about!

With a smirk and a sharp reply! “That’s banana bread” excuse me I asked what’s on that wrap as I pointed again, his response was no different the second time around!

Never seen this man before, and thanks to his attitude today I definitely won’t be seeing him again,

Time to look for an...

Edit 2025: went a couple of times in Dec & Jan. Sadly, the pancakes aren't the same as they used to be. They don't serve the pancakes like in the pic anymore. They are wider with very little fruit in comparison to before. Last 2 times, all I got was bananas and very sour strawberries. Won't be returning again. Gave it 1 last shot & they have failed the standards set before. Don't know if they have changed management or partnered up with another Cafe but disappointed. No longer busy for a good reason. Sadly saying bye to my fave weekend brunch place

Best buckwheat pancakes in town! Lots of vegan options too. Shakes are great (usually ask for extra chocolate as the normal isn't chocolatey enough for my buds).
