I usually never post reviews but this was the worst customer service experience ever. I visited a different CR store 2 days before and was looking to buy a pair of heels, the assistant was helpful and informed me there was 1 pair left in the QVB store. I tried calling the QVB store the day before to confirm and could not get through and kept trying throughout the day. I ended up calling more than 15 times and did not get through. I called a different store in Bondi and they said to keep calling since the store might be busy, but it is still ridiculous that Iâve called more that many times. I ended up visiting the store the next day which is an hour away from home hoping they have the heels in stock. When I went to ask the worker who was a mature lady name Diana/Dianne, tried to get her attention twice and she seemed apathetic when she noticed. I asked her about the heels and she stated whatever was on the shelves was everything they got. I tried to explain to her that I tried calling the store to ask about it and she said she heard the store was very busy. I asked whatâs a good time to call then which she did not answer and repeated herself. I had to convince her until she was willing to check on the system to prove that I was informed there was 1 stock left. She explained for next time to assume when thereâs only 1 stock left means it doesnât âexistâ. So I wasted my time trying to purchase the heels and came across the worst worker who was not willing to help and understand my frustration. CR should really consider training some of their staff basic customer service standards. I also work in customer service and fully understand that the whole ordeal could have been handled better. Also CR update your system, errors like this costed my time and no other customer should experience what I had...
Read moreTerrible customer service! Made to feel like something they'd stepped in! They knew me, but acted indifferent. Incredibly rude! Winter last year, I was exchanging a cream coloured cashmere jumper, for another cashmere jumper in a different style. When the jumper arrived they analysed mine with a fine tooth comb, noticing spots that hadn't been there previously, declaring mine unfit for resale - they then kept mine (ie, what was MY PROPERTY) in the store for several days, refusing to contact me, or answer the phone when I tried to contact them. (I was NEVER apologised to. I was a very loyal customer - a gold member, but I've given up on most of that now*) My only option was to contact head office and mention the fact that they had my property, I was unable to talk to them, and we'd made arrangements for an exchange. Since that event, I've lost an incredible amount of respect for Country Road, especially its stores. Staff should know that their treatment of customers has a lasting impression! I prefer to purchase online, but even that has its problems - things arrive sooner when they're shipped from the UK, than when ordered from CR, pandemic or no pandemic. People will always shop online more or less than before COVID-19. Doesn't explain why overseas companies are far more efficient than CR. *See my...
Read moreSaturday 05.07.25 The WORST customer service I have ever encountered. Rude, unprofessional and extremely unwelcoming.
I made an online order and opted for click and collect. I arrived with an email stating it was ready. An older lady told me it wasn't ready and was unwilling to help further. Wasted a trip to the CBD for no reason. 18 mins after leaving I received another email stating it's ready to collect again.
Too late, you've lost a customer. Thank you for wasting my time. You can keep the $800 order.
Dear management, I suggest you hire staff that aren't dinosaurs and are willing to learn how to use technology and possibly sometime learning how to be nice and not rude for no apparent reason. My wife and I were shocked.
P.S there was a gentleman's working there that was willing to help but was shutdown and stopped by an older lady who appeared to be the manager....
