A hidden gem especially the cool room with exotic fruits and vegetables and oriental herbs. This grocery store is a combined restaurant and Asian grocery. There's a very small section for Asian canned food, spices, noodles, condiments, etc. But my favourite is the cool room which is like entering into a tropical garden box packed with very fresh produce as well as eggs and other refrigerated food. I love the atmosphere of this store especially the very fresh red papaya and dragonfruit they always stock. It can get very busy due to the restaurant inside the same space sharing with this grocery store. There's limited street parking but it's a short walk to World Square shopping centre. This is a great concept in what is an unusual space. The previous shop that was here tried to implement a market within a shop space to emulate the feel of Jatachuk markets in Bangkok but it didn't work out. This incarnation has elements of the same - there's a cool-sectioned grocer's section where you can get Thai-specific vegetables and fruit, a Thai grocery shop for other Thai food, condiments, etc, and a cafe area that serves a notable select range of Thai food for a meal. The basement area has become the kitchen - the previous place made it an extension market area. All in all, the place has a relaxing, homey look and yet still has that Thai snugness of space about it - even though it is several things in one space like its previous tenant it works together as a pleasant all-in-one...

I was actually surprised that the shop was not as small as it looked from the outside 😮! This shop stock many items, from fresh durian in fridge, a cold room for fresh produce, curry pastes, sauces, snacks, noodles to ready made foods and Thai sweets etc.

I got some yummy Thai Lays chips. The durian sticky rice dessert in coconut cream from the freezer is really good 😍!
