Read moreMy friends and I recently visited Heritage Restaurant, and I must say, we were extremely disappointed with our experience. We had heard some great things about this place, so we decided to give it a shot. However, our visit turned out to be a complete letdown.
First of all, we arrived at the restaurant on a rainy evening. Despite being a group of eight without a reservation, we were willing to wait. However, we were taken aback when we were informed that they couldn't accommodate a large group like ours without prior reservations. What surprised us even more was the fact that they didn't offer online reservations and only accepted bookings through email. In this day and age, that seems quite outdated and inconvenient.
Nonetheless, we decided to give it a chance and waited patiently for half an hour to see if any tables would become available. To our dismay, there were empty tables throughout the restaurant, and it wasn't crowded at all. So, at 8:30, I approached the staff again to inquire about getting a table. They finally offered us two separate tables, which we were okay with.
Just as we were about to settle down and enjoy our evening, the manager appeared out of nowhere and rudely shooed us away, claiming that there were no available tables. This kind of treatment was unacceptable and left us utterly shocked. We have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant before.
Needless to say, we will not be returning to Heritage Restaurant ever again. Their lack of consideration for customers, especially when they had empty tables, was disappointing. It's a shame because they have lost eight potential high-paying customers. I would strongly advise others to think twice before dining at this establishment. There are far better options available where you'll be treated with respect...
Read moreI never write comments like these but this time i think i should do it. We came to the restaurant December 30th arround ~14:00. When we came to restaurant, waiter (an older man) told that they have no free tables available (and did not offer us to wait). We decided to just wait for free available table as we saw some 2-3 tables are paying the bill and leaving. When people left we waited some time more by the door (waiter saw we were waiting). After some time the same waiter came and asked "how can i help you?". You could see the frustration in his face that we did not go away and waited. We once again asked politely if they would have table available for 2 people. He said that no, they dont have free table for two (even that the restaurant was half full and there were many tables available, some of them been marked as reserved and some not), but then he slightly understood how akward it is and changed his mind and told that there is table available but highlighted that for 4 person. He was very annoyed that he had to invite us and wanted us to notice it and showed strange geastures with his arms. He was very impolite. Although the lady waitres and the younger boy were ok. Food was tasty also. To sum up, i dont understand why people like the first guy mentioned works in a field like this. He is ruining the owners bussines. He does not try to earn the money by inviting people and providing nice service, but negatively he tries to reject customers (we saw other customers at the same situation) and leaves a really bad impresion to the restaurant. Its a pitty. I would really suggest to lay him of or offer some kind of anger management classes (deducted...
