We were visiting Belgium for the first time, staying in Brussels and we took a day trip to Bruges. We wanted to take in as much of the city as we could in one day, we decided to take a walking tour and it was an unforgettable experience. The tour was a perfect way to explore this charming medieval city, rich with history, stunning architecture, and picturesque canals and also our wonderful guide Andy who had some amazing unique stories to share

Andy was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about the history of Bruges. He brought the city’s past to life with fascinating anecdotes about its role as a medieval trading hub for fish and beers, the significance of its iconic landmark buildings and the stories behind some of its most beautiful walkways and waterways.

The pace of the tour was ideal, allowing us time to take photos, ask questions, and absorb the atmosphere without feeling rushed. Andy also offered great tips on local spots for food, chocolate, and shopping, which added an extra personal touch! We got some chocolate, waffles and beers with recommendations from Andy and we couldn't be more pleased! The waffles were the best we have tasted in Belgium!

Our guide, Pascal, who had a knack for blending history with humor, made this tour truly entertaining. From the moment we gathered in the charming Market Square, I knew we were in for a treat.

We took the night tour in Bruges a couple of weeks ago and we were lucky enough to have Pascal as our guide. What a terrific night we had - My one regret is that we took the tour on our last night in town - Pascal took us past some places that I would have loved to visit if we had more time in the following day or days. Unfortunately we left Bruges early the next morning - Oh well I suppose we have to come back! And when we do you can be certain I will take another Ambassadors tour. Myself and my wife have travelled fairly extensively, and at every new place we go we seek out the best walking tours we can find. Ambassador and Pascal are easily in the top two or three tour guides we have had the luck to spend some time with. His passion and knowledge was second to none. His communication was easy, engaging and fun. I would highly recommend him to anyone who visits Bruges. It's an extremely beautiful place and some may think they can get enough just from that but believe me there is more to Bruges than meets the eye - as good as it is on the eye.
