We recently had the pleasure of joining a free walking tour of Bruges, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Pascal, who had a knack for blending history with humor, made this tour truly entertaining. From the moment we gathered in the charming Market Square, I knew we were in for a treat. Pascal's witty anecdotes and engaging storytelling brought the history of Bruges to life. He shared fascinating tidbits about the city's medieval past, its iconic architecture, and even threw in some great fun facts. I found myself laughing at his jokes and captivated by his enthusiasm. Pascal’s knowledge was impeccable, and his ability to keep the group engaged was commendable. As we strolled along the cobblestone streets, his passion for Bruges was infectious. He painted a vivid picture of the city's history and its hidden gems. The tour was not only educational but also highly entertaining. What sets this free walking tour apart is Pascal’s dedication to making it an enjoyable experience. He had a fantastic sense of humor and a talent for storytelling, ensuring that everyone in the group had a fantastic time. I left the tour with a deeper appreciation for Bruges and a smile on my face. If you're looking for an interesting, funny, and entertaining way to explore this beautiful city, don't miss this free walking tour. It's a must-do when in Bruges!

Brügge at Night Alternative Walking Tour with Sophie What an incredible experience! We absolutely loved discovering the untold stories, hidden gems, and magical history of Bruges with Sophie as our guide. She had fantastic knowledge of the city’s history and kept us engaged with fascinating stories (and even a couple spooky tales) about key places. Using her iPad, Sophie brought history to life—showing us original maps, images of buildings as they once looked, and even evidence behind local legends (like proof of the golden eels!). One unforgettable moment was when Sophie went the extra mile—literally—by climbing down the actual steps and reenacting the position of the man in the legend. In another tale, she even pulled out a miniature wind-play piano to add a fun, creative twist. Her passion and dedication made the stories come alive in the most memorable way. Sophie is not just a guide; she’s a true storyteller who brings the magic of Bruges to life. Thank you, Sophie!!! – Brent & Eric Side note: We booked through Viator, which was quick and convenient. But honestly, you could also take her free tour and give Sophie all your tips—she truly deserves them!⸻

We booked a night walking tour in Bruges with the local guide Andy from Ambassadors Tours. Bruges was our first stop in Belgium and this walk was our first walk in Bruges. It was absolutely amazing - the weather cooperated, the views were breathtaking, Andy was very knowledgeable and very personable. He gave the history or Bruges the human face - the stories he told made it easier to understand and remember the main historic events and turning points in the history of town and overall Flanders region. The stories were told with knowledge and wit and often elicited grins and chuckles from the audience. We had lots of fun and highly recommend taking the tour with Andy from Ambassadors Tours - the experience will definitely be very fondly remembered.

We were visiting Belgium for the first time, staying in Brussels and we took a day trip to Bruges. We wanted to take in as much of the city as we could in one day, we decided to take a walking tour and it was an unforgettable experience. The tour was a perfect way to explore this charming medieval city, rich with history, stunning architecture, and picturesque canals and also our wonderful guide Andy who had some amazing unique stories to share

Andy was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about the history of Bruges. He brought the city’s past to life with fascinating anecdotes about its role as a medieval trading hub for fish and beers, the significance of its iconic landmark buildings and the stories behind some of its most beautiful walkways and waterways.

From the majestic Belfry Tower and it's wooden history to the serene canals, every stop was a new opportunity to appreciate Bruges’ unique beauty with Andy's funny twists on the tales of the city brought it to life

The pace of the tour was ideal, allowing us time to take photos, ask questions, and absorb the atmosphere without feeling rushed. Andy also offered great tips on local spots for food, chocolate, and shopping, which added an extra personal touch! We got some chocolate, waffles and beers with recommendations from Andy and we couldn't be more pleased! The waffles were the best we have tasted in Belgium!

Overall, this walking tour is an excellent way to experience Bruges especially if you’re short on time or just want to dive deeper into the city’s heritage. It’s informative, engaging, and a great introduction to one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. Highly...

We took the night tour in Bruges a couple of weeks ago and we were lucky enough to have Pascal as our guide. What a terrific night we had - My one regret is that we took the tour on our last night in town - Pascal took us past some places that I would have loved to visit if we had more time in the following day or days. Unfortunately we left Bruges early the next morning - Oh well I suppose we have to come back! And when we do you can be certain I will take another Ambassadors tour. Myself and my wife have travelled fairly extensively, and at every new place we go we seek out the best walking tours we can find. Ambassador and Pascal are easily in the top two or three tour guides we have had the luck to spend some time with. His passion and knowledge was second to none. His communication was easy, engaging and fun. I would highly recommend him to anyone who visits Bruges. It's an extremely beautiful place and some may think they can get enough just from that but believe me there is more to Bruges than meets the eye - as good as it is on the eye. You will not regret spending time with Pascal and Ambassadors Tours and Activities. You will learn things and you will have a great time doing it. Thanks Pascal - I hope to see you next time we visit your beautiful city, maybe even share a drink or two in one of the terrific bars you...
