Let me be clear, because it looks like you didn't understand my comment -- or you didn't wanna understand it. I'm not complaining about not having been able to buy the exact flavor that I wanted. I'm complaining about your new policy of changing all flavors daily instead of having a few flavors that are always available. Your employee confirmed that this was indeed a new policy and I'm here saying that I find it bad, especially for frequent customers with intolerances. Some of us can only pick sorbet because we can't eat milk, and if you replace crowd-pleasers (flavors that most people can like) by experiemental and "stranger" ones, that limits the options for people with intolerances a lot. I am suggesting that you always keep some of the "safer" flavors available, instead of changing everything every day and leaving "safe" options out. Otherwise you risk leaving some customers with no option to choose from, which never happened before. Now, this is a review page and I'm using it to say that your new policy seems bad and is inconvenient for some customers like me, who can no longer find what we need. This is my opinion of your new policy, which essentially has ruined it for me, and surely for other people with food intolerances who have a limited range of options to choose from. You can take that feedback the way you want it, but responding like a furious teenager and calling me names doesn't seem very professional. Is the person responding to comments 12? Now you get one star less for responding...
Read morePeople talking badly about the quality of the ice cream in this place must have something wrong with their taste buds. So, I share my radiant review.
The pistachio in particular is, without competition, some of the best I've had in any place in the world (yes, including Italy, for the "experts"...). The others, even if sometimes I don't enjoy the flavor out of preference, I can always recognize the love and work put into the craft, and the pride they have on the quality of their ingredients. I always want to try the novelties on the menu because I know that I will always be impressed. The cones are homemade and fantastic.
I always look forward to summer to see what the boss has as a flavor of the week. He's extremely nice and willing to talk if it's not too busy and he's around. As for the other staff, I know already a few of the regular faces from going there a few times a month, and they are always nice, generous with the ice cream portion (sometimes it feels like I get 1.5 to 2 balls after paying for 1...), and efficient with the huge number of people that are always lining up.
My brother, who visits sometimes from Portugal, always asks about Gaston. My partner always comes with me. This place is an institution! Well done...

Ice Cream: 5/5 The pistachio ice cream here is simply the best I’ve ever had. Creamy, rich, and bursting with the authentic flavor of pistachios, each scoop is a delight. The pistachio sauce, which they generously drizzle over the ice cream, elevates the experience to a whole new level. It's a pistachio paradise!
Service: 5/5 The service is equally impressive. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you step in. They are knowledgeable about their products and happy to offer samples, ensuring you find your perfect flavor.
Ambiance: 5/5 The shop itself is charming and inviting, perfect for enjoying your treat on-site or taking a stroll around the beautiful city.
