This is the small public square situated in front of St. Catherine's Church to the northeast and Rue du Vieux Marché aux Grains to the southwest. It seems there is a weekly Wed food market held here as well as annual Christmas markets in December.

La chiesa di Santa Caterina fu costruita tra il 1854 e il 1874 sul sito di un bacino dell'ex porto di Bruxelles , in sostituzione di una chiesa più antica risalente al XV secolo. Il complesso è stato designato monumento storico nel 1981.
