visited the place with my husband, my sister and her boyfriend. The service was great as always. I had visited Chicago trattoria a few times before. We ordered two pizzas and two pastas. My husband has a coeliac disease and he was able to eat the pasta, which was great! The problem started when my sisters boyfriend didn’t like the pizza (although he ate more than half of it haha). He complained there was not enough sauce on it, which I don’t think was the case, as I also had a pizza rossa and it was fine. Basically what he was expecting was a dominos style pizza. Anyway, he decided to complain (we were super embarrassed) and I must say the way the waitress dealt with the complain was really good! That lady should get a medal! I think he expected to get a free pizza (which I’m glad we didn’t) but instead the waitress told him he could come to the kitchen to see how the pizzas are made! Well done! Anyway, good job Chicago Tratorria. Amazing food, great atmosphere and good service. Will defo be back (with more sophisticated friends...
Read moreQuite okay food but horrible service. First when we arrived there was nobody so we sat ourselves down and searched the menu online so we could be ready to order when the waiter finally notices us in 15 min. I was served a dirty plate not once but twice and two out of three plates on our table were broken. Normally it’s not something I’d care but I feel like if a place is charging you 42 euros for a bottle of prosecco you pay for the service. Starters took 30 mins to arrive, so did the pizzas. Everything was delicious except the Scamorza, I had the impression that they’ve used Boni pasta sauce in it or something. During the two hours I’ve spent there, there was barely a waiter outside (24°C) and I saw a waiter keep eating food with her hands inside and serving people without disinfecting her hands 🤮To sum, I don’t think I’ll go again though the food was good but the service was sooo bad and the prices really don’t accommodate the baaaad...

The food was outstanding and the portions were massive. Drinks were also very decent. Overall everything was priced more than fair.
Unfortunately the service in the sense of the time to get our food served (either being starters or even worse for the mains) was not necessarily timed well. There was also nearly no proactivity to ask about further rounds of drinks, even when collecting empty glasses.
Atmosphere was very lively and cozy. Would definitely come again and keep in mind that when it's getting busy that wait times might be...
