Best Customer Service I've had in a long time!
I ordered a sectional couch off of Wholesale Furniture Broker about 2 weeks ago. A couple days after placing my order, I've stumbled upon the online reviews which to be honest, scared me a lot. I called WFB in attempt to cancel my order and get my money back, but since the order had already shipped, I would've been looking at a 20% restocking fee; which I did not want to pay, obviously. The sales representative, Savannah Kirpane, was very polite and empathetic towards my dilemma and managed to convince me to follow through with my order.
So I decided to stick with my order and hope for the best, and this is exactly what I got when my couch arrived to my door in Calgary after 12 business day; exactly like promised. My wife and I were thoroughly surprised with the quality of product we received. The sectional came exactly as advertised online, was very comfortable and no pieces were missing or damaged.
I've been working in the retail business for close to a decade now, and I can assure anyone that no business has a perfect "extremely satisfied" track record of customers; but through my experience with WFB I found that the company actually cared more about their reputation than my money; and they delivered.
I understand the hesitation one would have after reading the bad reviews online, but hopefully my experience can turn things around for any skeptical...
Read moreI got my Japanese style low bed delivered within 2 weeks of ordering.......unlike the furniture store that makes you wait for months. Transaction was smooth online and the product was a good quality heavy material.......not cheap looking. The bed look awesome in our master bedroom and I love it. My friends have already complemented it and asked me where I got it from. I would highly recommend this company for 2 reasons...........1. They are Canadian & 2. I like the customer service follow up to chech if everything went well. The only not so good part was with the delivery person. I was advised that they do not bring the boxes in the house. I requested them to leave in my garage and since I was not at home and my mother-in-law who is 74 years old was at home at the time of delivery...........the driver asked her to help him get the stuff out of the truck, since he has bad back??????????? I mean..... are you serious???? Anyway....he managed to bring the skit down himself and lay it in the garage and then we took piece by piece into the house, since it was very heavy. The delivery company needs to be briefed well.....I don't mind tipping them for extra help to bring the boxes inside, but to ask 74 years old to lift freaking 300lbs boxes was somethings..... Read moreI am willing to change this rating if things improve but I am feeling really jerked around by these guys. Things started out okay but then they went completely silent. They won't respond to emails and my order is sitting (literally) in limbo for some reason.
I ordered a bed in April and still have not received it or any update (the sheer ignoring of customer emails is distasteful--I wouldn't email as much as I do, if I could just get a response). If the product was out of stock... on back order... whatever, I would understand. But it is not.
I contacted the manufacturer, Modloft, to inquire since GOWFB wouldn't respond to any of my requests for an update. Modloft confirmed that the bed has been sitting there waiting for GOWFB to arrange shipping and they have contacted GOWFB multiple times to do this--also without response. I have also followed up with GOWFB to ask if a pickup/shipping can finally be arranged since I know the bed is ready and waiting and yet I get no response. What is going on? Is the plan just to leave my order sitting there and just ignore my inquires? Why can't I get a simple response/update? Why can't this order be shipped when it has been ready to go for some time?
I am willing to change this rating if this order can finally get moving. If not, I will be going...
