Don't do it!!! The worst guy ever!!! He took my phone, ordered the wrong screen, had to wait for a new one, he fit it, he broke the GPS on my phone, he admitted it , he then ordered a new antenna he thought he broke that, didnt work. He then took it 5 more times and then came back and said I can't fix this I don't know what I've done. He wanted to factory restore my phone I said no, I don't think that will fix it. I lived with it because I couldn't buy a new phone, there was no way I was going back to him. The screen he fitted kept flashing, I eventually went to try and get thaylt fixed by somebody else as I didnt trust revy tech. He showed me the loose connections which is why it was flashing. He also showed me the broken GPS part on my phone, the screen fits into in the inside he had tried to jam it in, which had broken the receptor on the phone which is why he couldn't fix the GPS. It's unfixable he's broken a BRAND NEW Samsung, it was 3 months old , all he needed to do was fit a new screen after I dropped it. He admitted all this. I went back to get a refund for the screen he fit as he broke my phone and admitted it. I thought I was being more than fair as I was told by a lawyer I had enough in writing I can sue. Im not that person I just wanted my screen money back, he was VILE. HE denied it , he got me confused with somebody else that refused to pay pay because he broke their ohone ( clearly common for him he's incompetent) he then was Wasing aggressive. He said he woukd call the police he tried to deny all the things he had previously admitted and was trying to gaslight ( he was like keep going i love this) i went in to be decent. I've spoken to a lawyer who said i was entitled to money , im not even asking for that I just want me money back for things he admitted he broke.
Don't do it to yourself. Go sicamous, salmon arm anywhere! They will actually fix your phone not break it and then...
Read moreEDIT Very disappointed by customer service... I was at first very happy with the reactivity of the shop and how quick they have been able to replace the screen on my phone.
Two days after the repair I noticed a dark spot on the edge of the screen, which was small enough and decided not to bother revytech with that little imperfection of the repair. But a few weeks later the spot is getting bigger and a purple line appears on the side.
I sent an email explaining and got told that understanding how it could have been an issue with the work done it was covered by the 90 days warranty and that it would cost me 30 dollars. When I asked why I'd need to pay 30 if it's covered, the guy just didn't reply. I then came today, the man said I damaged it myself and offered to do it for 60. It is obvious to me that it is a problem with installation, and even though we could agree to disagree I don't buy this after being ghosted and offered to be charged under warranty.
I know I should have come back as soon as I noticed something wrong, I just was happy enough with how fast and friendly they were at first. If I knew the politics of the shop was so dishonest, claiming they have a 90 days warranty and not assuming their mistakes then I would not have given them a chance, even though I'm now sure that wouldn't have made much difference...
To make it short, they are quite reactive and quick to fix your phone but expect to be very frustrated if something comes wrong. I'm all for supporting small businesses in Revy but now I'll just give my money to someone else
FOR YOUR ANSWER I was still within the 90 days warranty when I noticed you and visited you (and you know it). And you SHOULD cover physical damages from...
Read moreDo not bring any electronics here for repair. Brought a laptop and charger here last August for a charging port replacement. took 4.5 weeks to repair, once I went to pick, pay 150$ for the repair, I ask for my charger back as well and the guy says I never had one. They said they'd look for it and call me back. After 4 weeks of calling them and being told "still looking", they finally ordered me a new one. Not sure if they gave it to someone else or just lost it.
It was now late December and after a week using the charger they replaced mine with, the battery failed so I brought it back. Another 2 months goes by waiting for my repair, it is now March. I get a call to pick up the repaired laptop, pay another 130$, take it home and the computer still isn't charging. They didn't even try plugging it in with the charger they replaced mine with. Go back, show him, he says he'll order me one that works. Wait another 2 weeks. Went today to try the new one, still the wrong charger. The only charger that works is the one the repair shop used to check my laptop. At this point, half a year and 270$ later I am done. He says "I can refund your money, but I have to take the new battery back out".
Do yourself a favor and take your electronics to a reputable, professional repair shop and...
