Last week, I wore my Ecco dress shoes to a concert. At intermission, I discovered that they were disintegrating and leaving tarry black goo on concert hall floor. I took them to the store where they were purchased and was told that they are well beyond warranty date, which I don't dispute. The salesperson and manager (both very courteous and professional) both acknowledged that these shoes have a serious manufacturing defect, but that all they could do is offer a 20% discount on the price of a new pair of shoes. It's obvious from examining the shoes that they have practically no usage, and it's just not acceptable that Ecco Canada is unwilling to make the problem right when their counterpart in the U.S. is admitting fault AND taking responsibility for making this problem right with its customers. Before buying Ecco shoes in Canada, I would strongly advise consumers to Google "disintegrating Ecco shoes" and not take for granted the company's claim that this is only a problem from a decade ago. My third and definitely last pair of Ecco shoes.

Im sure the service is great and people do a great job but...negative reviews regarding their shoes Not a fan of their shoes. Purchased 2 ecco shoes. Not made for longterm use. Only use them couple times a year. By year 3 they began disintegrating because of the polyurethane soles. Short term use is fine but not a fan for long term use. Better options for higher price tag Be aware of the soles disintegrating after that 1yr warranty. Cheaply made...for nice profit...

Just recently got a pair of sandals from ECCO and love them👍🏼💕 It is a Danish footwear company founded in 1963 in Bredebro, Denmark. While ECCO has a strong presence in Canada with numerous stores and a significant customer base, it is not a Canadian-owned or operated business. I had a good customer experience and no regrets about my decision. Feet 🦶🏼 are very important!! Great quality and choice 📌

So I have needed a new pair of shoes for too long.. after doing lots of research and even buying a few pairs that didn't work I found the ones I really wanted at Ecco. I went to the Eaton Center location expecting better service and more selection. I was right about selection.. wow so many to choose and I already was more than ready to purchase as I had done so much research and even tried some on at a Winners location. I was there in an empty store for 10 min or more and didn't even get a hello, not to mention someone come help. There were 2 women there more interested in there phones or whatever to see I had been browsing for a while and clearly should be approached. Anyway I don't recommend this location. I'm hoping when I finally find another location I will be better served at a shop that is so expensive and high end. ...

I first went to another ecco with my Dad and saw these really nice pair of white sneakers. I ordered them online but realized a few days later that they may have been different than the ones we tried at the store. There are like 4 different kinds of white sneakers for men right now. We just happened to stop by the ecco eaton centre location and we thought we’d just double check they were the right ones. A nice clerk by the name of Kimberly helped us identify the right pair and even called the other store to verify if they were right or not and even offered to exchange once they did come. I didn’t end up exchanging once the return came but Kimberly was so nice and thoughtful. Thank you for helping us the other day. This is the reason why I...
