Studying at this school was an incredibly enriching and memorable experience. From the very first day, I felt welcomed and supported in an environment that truly values the learning journey of its students. The school structure, while simple, is well organized and creates a focused and comfortable atmosphere for studying.
I’d especially like to highlight my teacher, Daniel Mark, who made a huge difference during my time here. With a clear and engaging teaching style, combined with patience and a great sense of humor, he turned each class into a meaningful and enjoyable learning experience. The way he encouraged participation, led discussions, and explained every point with care really stood out to me.
The student-teacher connection was one of the highlights of this experience. Daniel knew exactly how to balance each person’s needs, making sure everyone felt included and challenged. That, to me, is a true sign of professionalism and passion for teaching.
The school as a whole also deserves praise. From the admin staff to the small day-to-day details, it’s clear there’s a real commitment to offering a high-quality international experience. Every interaction was respectful, kind, and helpful, which made a big difference in my stay.
The learning materials used in class were also very effective. The activities were relevant, modern, and encouraged not only grammar and vocabulary, but also real conversation and critical thinking. This played a key role in building my confidence when speaking English.
Another thing I truly appreciated was the multicultural environment. I had the chance to meet people from all over the world, share experiences, and learn from different cultures. The school naturally creates these opportunities, which enrich the learning experience even more.
To wrap up, I’m very thankful to Daniel Mark and the entire school team. This was a positive, meaningful journey that helped me grow both personally and academically. I leave with great memories, valuable knowledge, and the motivation to keep learning. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality international...
Read moreDO NOT RECCOMEND this center for IELTS. I took my computer-based IELTS General exam on December 16th relying on these "good reviews". Maybe if it was my first time taking IELTS, I wouldn't understand that they deliberately lower speaking scores, but with my extensive experience taking IELTS academic, I am sure of it! The fact is that I took my IELTS academic 5 years ago and scored higher. Since then, I have been working in an English-speaking environment. Moreover, according to this center, after 1 year of working experience in Canada, not only have my speaking skills not improved but they have also gotten worse!!?? Like for real?! I don't recall the examiner's name, except that she had shoulder-length blonde hair.
Now reading comment below from the other member I recall she was also laughing at my response! Which I find odd for the exam of such a level !! I also got 7 ! Maybe that’s her favourite number lol
If you want to dispute the results, this organization charges an additional 330 CAD, essentially discouraging you from doing so.
I also recommend cleaning computer keyboards periodically for hygiene purposes. Although I was assured by the staff that they do it every day, I find it hard to believe. After cleaning it myself with wet tissues, I discovered it was quite gross, containing hair and other debris
P.S: you can easily check my personal details in your database in case you want to verify if my...
Read moreI went there to take my IELTS exam (computer based). The staff themselves are very friendly. The exam center itself is located on the 2nd floor. You need to register once for the Speaking exam and then again for the Listening/Reading/Writing exam. At the time of the registration, you will be asked to handover your mobile phones/smartwatch/wallets and anything else except your ID, pencil, water bottle. Due to Coronavirus, you sit 6 feet away from the instructor who conducts the Speaking test. There's a transparent screen separating you from the instructor for safety. I was wearing a mask and the speaking instructor informed me that I can take off the mask if I feel comfortable. This is probably so that whatever you're talking is recorded clearly. For the Listening test, the headphones provided were of good quality. In case you don't have a pencil, you can ask the invigilator and they'll provide one. A paper was also provided. Follow the instructions mentioned at all times. The headphones had Active Noise Canceling so that was helpful to drown out other sounds during the Reading and Writing test. Overall, the exam centre was well equipped and I would gladly go over there again,...
