TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM — Local services in Toronto

If there is a 0 point, I will choose to give 0 points. At 6:40 pm on April 25, 2025, I went to the counter to handle business and deposited a bank check of 25,500 yuan. The counter staff who helped me handle the business was a Chinese lady wearing glasses. She was super unprofessional, and more importantly, her attitude was too arrogant and impatient. I also deposited a bank check of 50,000 yuan in RBC. Their counter staff would actively suggest that I open a savings account, but when I deposited 25,500 yuan in TD, she didn't tell me. When I took the initiative to ask her how to open a savings account, her attitude was extremely impatient and unfriendly. In the end, I gave up because of her attitude. TD is the first account I opened in Canada. So far, I have opened a checking account, a tax-free account, and a US stock account in TD. The low ratings are completely warranted for this location that doesn't care about TD clients. Despite being a long-time client all along the TD product line, including investments, this branch and specifically the manager Steve Yeung, refused to deposit a small cheque into my account that a friend endorsed to me. It was a government cheque. My friend is disabled. I thought I would do him a favour. Pretty much zero risk for the branch, yet they felt refusing me was somehow the proper way to treat a customer. Depositing endorsed cheques is as old as banking. There is no excuse. Very disappointed overall with the business services section of this bank. When you go in they have a business services line that’s almost always closed and when you go to stand in line for business service the useless managers in the back Jason Gia and some other idiot just sit there and look at you instead of serving business clients. Maybe this TD bank branch has too much money and don’t need anymore.This is truly one of the worst branches to conduct business and I would recommend all businesses in the area stay clear of this branch or do your business at the college TD bank instead.
