I visited the Jo Malone store at Pacific Centre looking for a special Mother’s Day gift, but unfortunately left feeling upset and unwelcome. From the moment I mentioned I was interested in purchasing a gift card, the service noticeably shifted — it became disinterested and cold, as if I was a bother for asking questions or taking up time. I felt more like a nuisance than a customer.

To make matters worse, after all the poor service, I was told they couldn’t even sell me what I needed. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially when I came in with the intention to buy something meaningful.

Thankfully, I decided to walk over to the Jo Malone counter at Holt Renfrew, where the experience was completely different. The staff were warm, attentive, and helpful. Everything I wanted was in stock, and I left feeling confident and happy with the gift I found for my mother.
