Rain Wellness — Local services in Vernon

We were in Vernon for a week-long ski trip, and I booked a salt scrub treatment as a treat to relax and recover. It was honestly the best treatment and massage I've ever experienced, and I'm a little sad I don't live in Vernon so I can get these treatments all the time!

My treatment was delivered by Gagan, and he is unbelievably talented. I usually have to ask the therapist to adjust their pressure during a massage, but Gagan seems to have an intuitive feel for pressure, and it was perfect the entire time.

I can't recommend the salt scrub treatment enough. It felt amazingly decadent, but also effective. The massage was precise and targeted, and the knots and kinks I'd acquired from 4 days of nordic skiing melted away. The Vichy shower took it to an entirely new level of indulgence, and seemed to melt away all of my stress. The treatment was an hour, but felt like more, probably because it was so soothing and relaxing. The fact that this treatment is offered by an RMT makes it just beyond amazing. Not only do you get a fantastic spa treatment, but you can also feel confident that you'll receive a professional level, therapeutic massage. To me, this is what sets Rain above and beyond other spas offering similar services.

Gagan is an amazing practitioner. He is very warm and welcoming and put me completely at ease. He is extremely professional, but also makes you feel very cared for. It's clear that he is passionate about his profession and about helping people to feel their best.

This was an amazing experience, and I will 100% return to Rain (and hopefully Gagan!) next time we are in Vernon....

Rain Wellness has a lovely ambiance. The rooms are spotless clean with earthy decor and Indigenous influence. The one room I'm always in has animal hide drums on the wall. The music they play is very spa-like. I sometimes fall asleep because I'm so relaxed!

My usual service is the Indulge massage - straightforward massage therapy with hot towels and aromatherapy. They have an amazing selection of essential oils. If you're overwhelmed by the selection, they even have a quick aromatherapy questionnaire to help you select scents to match your preferences/needs. I've also gotten the Signature massage with hot towels, aromatherapy, and hot stones as well - this is a treat! My partner has gotten the Wounded Warrior water treatment and loves it - such a fun and unique treatment!!! It has hot/cold elements and a tingling balm (something like Vick's Vaporub) put on afterwards which soothed his muscles and left him feeling refreshed.

I've had massages by Lynn and Gagan. Lynn was great at a providing relaxing massage (definitely fell asleep on the table for a bit) as well as getting those small knots. Gagan is my main practitioner and he is awesome - he has great hand/finger strength for deep pressure and also uses his elbow plus simultaneously moves my limbs gently to get at those really deep knots. Rain Wellness is so very unassuming from the outside, but when you get inside you know it is a place of healing. The energy, the aroma, the people, the vibe are amazing. Angeline was there when I first arrived and you would never know that she was the owner. All of the staff members there were treated equally.

Treatments: I have had the Deep Tissue by Caleb, the Seven Sacred Directions by Angeline and my friend had the Signature Therapeutic Massage. AMAZING from the start. Each room has its own theme. The equipment is new. The signature essential oils that they utilize in the treatments have an amazing essence and complex combination aroma. Very settling. The RMT's and technicians honour your body, time. privacy and comfort throughout the treatment. After each treatment they ensure you received what you wanted from the treatment and offer suggestions to assist the healing energy to continue to work after you leave the spa. As well as, to establish that the individual is welcome to return at any point to continue with the same treatment or with other treatments.

If there were more than five stars Rain Wellness would receive it. I will be continuing my patronage here. This place of healing and wonder is worth it just for the energy lift.
