An elegant and high quality coffee shop with very friendly staff and a delicious menu. There are booths and a long table for seating as well as a couple stools along the front window and a few small tables out front when the weather is nice. The staff is always very friendly when I have questions about the menu. Their drinks are high quality and it feels like they really take pride in their coffees and beverages. I've only eaten here a few times but I really enjoyed the food that I have had, they have both a made-to-order menu and quick takeaway items as well.

Triumph Coffee is a hidden gem that truly lives up to its name! From the moment you walk in, the warm, cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff make you feel right at home. Their coffee is rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection — easily the best in town. The pastries and light bites are fresh, delicious, and made with love. It’s the perfect place to catch up with friends, read a book, or just enjoy a peaceful moment. Every visit feels like a warm hug in a cup. Triumph Coffee is a little slice of heaven for coffee lovers!

Edit - seems like the business has new owners since we visited last year. Unfortunately it just wasn’t the same atmosphere and quality we used to love. Tried the bfast sando with chorizo and the wrap and both were excellent! Coffee is always great here, love that we can grab a bag of bows, pallet or multiply here. Kid friendly and just such a chill vibe here, love the music as well. 10/10

When I first Moved back to Vernon a year ago after being away a couple of decades, I was In search of a place to feel “at home” and enjoy a latte and some healthy fare. I quickly discovered Triumph and was overwhelmed by the fact that food and the coffee were only surpassed by the warm hospitality of Merry and her team. I was very swiftly treated as a regular and felt at home at a time in our history that was unprecedented. ( masks and socialize distancing ) I found myself looking forward to the small interactions with the staff as much, if not more, than I did to my morning latte! Merry will always be a part of my happy memories of returning to my home town! Over the last year there has been a few changes in protocols and in staff and management but Triumph is living up to it’s name and rises to every challenge and triumphs! Recently, Stephanie has taken the reins as manager and what a lovely personality to be the face of Triumph she is !! Nothing has suffered with any of the changes! The food remains amazing ! The coffee is outstanding! The staff is always smiling ! The atmosphere is always friendly! This speaks volumes to me as far as behind the scenes and I wholeheartedly endorse local businesses that have happy staff! I have And always WILL recommend this lovely cafe for its food, drinks, atmosphere and most of all its attitude. Because when it all boils down to the bottom of it, I like to support local and I LOVE to support NICE people . This place...

I want to love this place, I really do - and I have been there many times. Sadly, I think today will have been my last visit.

The atmosphere and space are fantastic, the fact that it's locally owned is a huge draw, but the staff and the coffee are terrible.

They only serve trendy medium roasts, which to me taste acidic, fruity and make me queasy. You will be made to feel like the most un-hip dinosaur if you ask for a dark roast.

The young-adult staff project a vibe that it's agonizing for the poor souls to be employed, to have to project their voices to be heard, to make eye contact, or to describe a product. Today, I watched an employee call out a coffee (at an inaudible level) and then let it sit on the counter for 7 minutes while he looked at his phone, rather than call it out louder or bring it to the customer.

The owner seems absolutely lovely I have to say, but as to why she employs people like this, and won't serve a darker roast that will taste good to us un-trendy sorts? I truly don't know. But it's a deal breaker for me...

On a very short first time trip to Vernon for my Dad's memorial, we stopped in on a whim for coffee. An unexpected pleasant surprise... the frontage is simple and welcoming, the interior was clean and spacious but still provided a feeling of sitting in the comfort of home. Coffee is always better made by someone else and we were thoroughly impressed. Enough to attend Triumph 2 times in 12 hours with a personal promise of going back. The coffee was great, just strong enough... The pastry was fresh and not over sweetened, a great compliment to our brew. And lastly, the team/owners working there were very friendly and asked all the right questions to help us achieve top notch customized coffee.

Again and again and again... We...
