Disappointed with Deceptive Charges and Scheming Practices
I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes of enjoying a delightful dining experience. Unfortunately, my expectations were quickly shattered by the restaurant's deceptive charging practices and questionable schemes. I feel compelled to share my negative experience, in the hope that others can avoid falling victim to such tactics.
Upon placing my order, I was asked if I wanted the gravy on the side for my dish. Assuming it was a standard option, I agreed. To my dismay, I discovered later that I was charged extra for this seemingly innocent request. It was a sneaky way of squeezing more money out of their customers, without any upfront disclosure of the additional cost. It left a sour taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively.
Furthermore, when I inquired about substituting my vegetables, the staff suggested a salad as an alternative. Naively thinking it was a complimentary option, I agreed, only to find out that I was charged for it separately. This lack of transparency and the additional charge for a simple substitution felt like a deliberate attempt to exploit customers' willingness to accommodate their dietary preferences.
To add insult to injury, a server approached my friend and casually asked if they wanted garlic bread, without mentioning any additional cost. Imagine our surprise when we received the bill and discovered yet another hidden charge for the garlic bread. It was as if the restaurant was intentionally trying to catch customers off guard and squeeze every last penny from them.
Despite expressing my dissatisfaction and clearly stating that these charges were unfair and deceptive, the staff remained unresponsive and unapologetic. It was evident that their business model was centered around tricking unsuspecting customers into paying for extras that should have been clearly communicated and included in the menu prices.
I regret dining at [Restaurant Name] and strongly advise others to exercise caution before patronizing this establishment. Their sneaky and dishonest tactics not only tarnish the dining experience but also betray the trust of their customers. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and takes steps to rectify their practices, or else they risk losing loyal customers and damaging their reputation further.
In conclusion, if you value honesty, transparency, and fair pricing, I recommend seeking dining options elsewhere, as Millestones falls short on...
Read moreHad to take my good review back and I’m forced to put the negative review, been to multiple times after my first visit and every time they have been provided the worst service one could ever imagined, been so many times that by this time the staff would recognize us with the face, but every times there’s some issue with their service or food n comes with a apologizes n gives us a discount vouchers that’s not how the things work! Honey chilly bowl n omg the amount of honey they used I promise my teeth been feeling worse since then, probably they should really focus on the portions every-time there’s a difference in the portion been served and definitely chef needs even more focus on how much quantity to been used for a ingredient! Recently went on Mother’s Day, I understand it was busy but every other table was getting their food on time while they made us wait for approx 50 min until our food was served and that to we need to constantly ask the server for the order update, n top of that server was soo soo rude, like the way she kept back the used fork back to my table cloth omg, what would have happened if she could have taken the used one n gave the new one it was just fork, it’s such an annoying experience I have been dealing with since last few visits, oh yes one of the manager was questioning about our integrity when we showed him the food voucher one of their manger gave us on our last visit since the food was terrible, that’s not how the staff supposed to treat your valuable customer, to cover that he gave us another voucher as a apology, tbh we just come here to use the voucher as we have completely lost the interest of eating at this fine dine restaurant, everytime they come up with some issues end up giving us a voucher, the respected authority should really look into this matter! Thank you Even the desert which they serve are just terrible, orders cheese cake trust me it was sooo dry and worst cheese cake I ever had, like seriously this expensive food and still end up serving the worst quantity and quality of every food!
We order butter chicken as a main menu in our probably 3 visit and they served a burnt chicken n burnt bread, we ask them to replace n again came up with the same dish.
Either chef needs to be replaced or do whatever it takes to...
Read moreFor starters I watched a glass with ice of water literally explode in my wife's hand, spilling all the water on her lap. She was soaked ! and No she did not drop it. It actually shattered ! Our waitress looked at my wife as if she dropped the glass and don't believe her. Manager comes over to ask if everything's ok. We are the type of people that don't like to make a scene even though my wife did get a small cut on her arm. They clean it up and we proceed to eat. Now I'm not one to look for any kind of discount for what just happened but at Cactus & Earls they would of done something for the inconvenience of my wife having to walk out of the restaurant and back to our hotel soaking wet. On top of this we order a to go order for our daughter back at the hotel. We checked the order before leaving at the door and noticed there was no spinach that came with the dish. We spoke to the front lady at the door and literally told us she was busy and would try her best to find out our waitress. We waited 10 min only to flag her down ourselves as I could see she was still sitting multiple people down and wasn't even looking for waitress. Eventually our waitress apologizes for the missed spinach and takes our meal back to the kitchen while we wait at the front. We waited for about 15-20 Min while we thought the meal was being remade as was discussed to only have the manager bring back the same meal that we gave them and said sorry we don't have anymore spinach. I had mentioned to him now this meal has been sitting with you for 20 plus minutes and all we got was " Oh sorry about that ". And walks away. We leave the building and then once more realize they had no utensils in the bag. Had to go back in the building and then now the manager says he would refund some money. Little too late don't you think !!! Where was that offer when my wife got soaked. Bad Bad Service ! This is the first time I've ever written...
