I bought a pair of Rossignal skis from the shop. And i got a pair of bindings (in a box) which i later found out the color does not match with the ski (skis are In navy/neon while the bindings are orange). So i called the shop and told them about that. They said i wasnt given the neon binding because both bindings would work --- i am surprised that color does not matter to that extent (as orange is a horrible match with yellow). And they said i can go back to exchange the neon one if i want to. I told them that i need it urgent and i have no plan to visit whistler for the rest of the season. They asked if I could ask a friend who would visit whistler to help, i said no. I asked them if they knew anyone who would visit Vancouver to do the exchange there, and they said no. After a long conversation, under my suggestion, they accepted the possibility to do it with mail at their expense (which wont meet my urgent need).
As I need it urgently (going multiple days training in a few days), i was considering to just go with it, but then find out the binding actually does not fit into the skis. Thus, i was given a completely wrong binding (not just color mismatch). I called them again to follow up but they did not offer any other new measures to settle it.
I was very disappointed with this experience as it is their mistake but they haven't figure out an effective solution to handle my urgent need. Neither did they say sorry or apologize for the case.
Follow up: decided to drop it to one star from two as the staff was acting very uncaring. I drove 2.5 hours round trip just for this exchange and when I asked a question about the color they didnt seem to take it seriously, and they also gave me the new binding with the box not covered properly --- sleeves out. (normally i wouldnt mind but if my customer is making up for my mistakes i would want to be more careful with those details), so basically...

You walk in the door and nobody says hello and nobody helps you find anything.
