The people actually located and working at the whistler/blackcomb guest services are great. But since Vail took over, trying to get a hold of ANY person up there over the phone is impossible. Unless, of course, you want to make reservations. We lost a cell phone and spent an hour trying to reach guest services. SORRY reservations said, THEY DONT GIVE OUT THAT NUMBER!!!. Then they outsource your question and send you to their Philippian phone workers who are not equipped properly to answer most all questions. Don't get me wrong, the area is still great as are the workers on site, but customer service over the phone is NON-EXISTENT. Amelia Earhart had better luck with needed communications. P.S..... wait till you see next years day pass prices that the execs at Vail will be charging in an attempt to keep them pesky middle classers away. I left my glove on the gondola and asked at Every station and even the other lift’s stations if anyone turned it in. They all said no and that I should go to guest services and fill out a form. Yet when I got to guest services they said they don’t accept lost and found forms if it’s for a glove. Well what do they do with all the lost gloves that are turned in?? Read moreThe staff is not helpful and unempathetic. We had edge cards for the 2024 season, and we didn't fully utilize them due to bad snow conditions this year (and snow absence, even). We wanted to exchange our cards for one summer lift ticket, but the staff didn't help or provide alternative solutions.
