C Dessert House Review - A Hidden Gem in Hong Kong's Dessert Scene ★★★★☆ (4/5 stars)
Tucked away in Hong Kong's bustling streets, C Dessert House offers a modern take on traditional Chinese desserts. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of sampling their signature offerings, and the experience was nothing short of delightful.
The star of the show was undoubtedly their Longan Sorbet (龍眼冰). Served in a pristine white bowl atop a wooden tray, the presentation was minimalist yet elegant. The sorbet featured perfectly crystallized ice shavings topped with plump, translucent longans and what appeared to be small tapioca pearls. The texture was remarkably smooth, and the natural sweetness of the longans shone through without being overwhelming.
Their Honeydew sorbet with Almond Juice (杏汁蜜瓜冰) was equally impressive. The dessert arrived beautifully arranged with chunks of fresh, pale green honeydew melon and matcha jelly cubes swimming in creamy almond milk. The small, crystal-clear pearls added a playful textural element that complemented the smooth almond base perfectly.
Ambiance: ⚠️ Fair warning - the space is rather intimate (read: cramped). You'll find yourself closer to your neighboring diners than you might prefer, making it less than ideal for private conversations. The wooden serving trays and minimalist white bowls do add a contemporary touch to the dining experience.
Price point: At a premium for the portion size, but the quality justifies the cost. You're paying for craftsmanship and premium ingredients here.
Worth noting: Pristine presentation Fresh, high-quality ingredients Limited seating Best to avoid peak hours if you're uncomfortable with close seating
Will I return? Absolutely, especially for that longan sorbet. Just remember to come during off-peak hours if you prefer more personal space.
Pro tip: Their longan sorbet is a must-try and seems to be a crowd favorite. The careful balance of textures and temperatures makes it a standout dessert that keeps patrons...

We ordered some tong suis and after ordering the owner gently suggested we needed to try the black sesame soup. I am not even going to mention all the other soups we tried (a lot) because if you only get one choice you MUST try the black sesame soup. It is creamy and delicious, melts in your mouth almost as if you’re eating melted chocolate but it’s black sesame. It is not too thick or thin and not too sweet. When the bowl hits the table you can smell the fragrance of freshly roasted black sesame. It is exquisite. You will wish you had room for another bowl.
On top of this, the prices are reasonable and service very friendly. The place is clean and feels new. When they placed one of the tong sui on the table they said “it is hot, take your time to eat it” I was shocked. This is not normal tong sui po service where you get rushed out. Of course you should respect the healthy line outside by eating and leaving in a reasonable time, but this place has a warm feeling to it where you can feel the heart in the food and service.
I have tried many tong sui po in Hong Kong as my stay is short and it is near impossible to find in the states. If you’re in the area, this place...

Food ordered😋 Mango Milkshake Custard🥭 Longan Sobert with Nata De Coco🍧 Honeydew Sobert with Sago 🍈 Seasame Soup🍲
👧🏻🗣️ This restaurant reopen in September! They have really high quality dessert served few years ago, however due to covid and failure of runing the restaurant, they closed all stores few years ago. It’s so fascinating to enjoy their dessert after the covid!🥳🤩I’ve ordered their signature mango milkshake custard🥭, i was a bit disappointed since the dessert is a bit soft and does not taste like the one i used to eat. Its more like a milk pudding than milkshake custard. The other signature Longan Sobert with Nata De Coco🍧 is much better than mine, the sobert is full of longan taste even its melting. The Honeydew Sobert with Sago 🍈 is the highlight of the night! It was much better than expected. The honeydew was so sweet😝😋 Overall, its one of the best dessert restaurants in Hong Kong...
