The House of Tours — Local services in La Fortuna

We stayed at The House of Tours in La Fortuna, which we booked through Airbnb, and everything was perfect. Although we only stayed for one night as a quick stop in La Fortuna before our flight the next day, it was a wonderful experience.

The apartment is beautifully designed—ideal for both short and long stays. It has everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, laundry essentials, an air-conditioned room with a king-size bed, and a bathroom with a hot shower. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and we felt incredibly comfortable and well-rested.

The place was spotless and well-maintained. We really appreciate the effort the owner and hosts put into ensuring a cozy and pleasant stay, and we recommend that fellow travelers do their part to keep it that way.

The hosts were kind, helpful, and flexible. We would definitely stay here again when we return to La Fortuna and highly recommend it to other travelers as well.

Eder, Carlos, Matias and the rest of the staff at the House of Tours were fantastic. Two friends and I came to Costa Rica in Feb 2025. We decided to stay in a few different locations. I saw on the web site that House of Tours could arrange transportation. We got into La Fortuna then needed to go to La Tigra Rainforest Lodge and back again to La Fortuna. From there we went on Poasi. House of Tours arranged all of our transportation with pickup at our hotel and drop off where we were going. They even took the time to give us ideas of how to get to the Caribbean coast from Poas. We booked a couple tours through them too and the price was cheaper than going through the popular sites. My family stayed at Villa Graceland La Fortuna for our trip to Costa Rica in November 2024. The house and property were beautiful! The host was incredibly attentive and helpful to make sure we had all we needed. First, he answered all my questions in the weeks leading up to our trip. Once we were there, he even stopped by a couple of times to show us how to use the stove and bring more sheets, etc. He was so kind and hospitable. The house is very clean and modern, and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas! It was plenty big for our family of 6 so everyone could have their own bed.
