Very cute cafe, great ambience, good prices. I loved the mural and all the natural wood. However the service was lacking. When we entered we were greeted by a very warm and welcoming man who seated us quickly so we expected the good service to continue. But then it took FOREVER for a waitress to come up and take our order despite there being lots of staff hanging out around the bar not working. They didn’t offer to take drink orders or give us water once seated which we found very weird. And we asked for there not to be parsley in the omelet multiple times because we have a food allergy and the omelet still came out with parsley in it. We spoke in English but also used our translator app in Spanish just to make sure our waitress understood. So while the omelet was a let down the açaí bowl was amazing!
Normally wait staff come up and check on you during the course of your meal and ask how it’s going and if you need anything. However our waitress never once did that and I had to get up and get the bill after waiting a long time for her to come back and check on us.
Overall this place has lots of potential but the manager has to get the staff to not be so laid back and provide a higher...

Read moreUnfortunately we were met with a very rude waitress. The man who seemed to be the owner/head of the restaurant was very polite. My wife ordered an açaí bowl which we had to take to go because there were a lot of bees and bugs showing up because of the fruit. Please take note it was because of the season and if you can't stand bugs/bees I recommend taking out, but the reason we wouldn't recommend even eating here is because in her acai bowl she had bitten into a really big piece of purple plastic. Unfortunately she had taken a couple bites and who knows if she had ingested any more micro plastics. This ruined our experience and we felt unsafe to eat the rest of the food considering the person we had called was being rude and seemed like she didn't care my wife had almost ingested a big piece of plastic. Shows how careless they can be with the food. Thankfully the owner had given us a full refund for the food we had brought back. That's why we would give it a 3 star and not a 1 star....
