SENTIO — Restaurant in undefined

Sentio is a culinary gem located in the heart of Nicosia and a must visit restaurant for those who appreciate good food. The service and atmosphere are excellent and every dish is well executed with great quality ingredients. Only downside is that the prices are a bit higher compared to the portions which are quite small in my opinion. Other than that, Sentio offers a lot of options both suitable for vegetarians and meat lovers. Their dishes are really unique and delicious.

Among my favorite dishes are the following:

The prawn yiouvetsi which has both a fresh and earthy flavor with perfectly cooked orzo and prawns and a tasty tomato sauce.

I can’t talk enough about the mushroom ravioli with truffle and a creamy sauce. Maybe my favorite dish from this restaurant.

The crispy calamari is also a hit as it is fried and seasoned to perfection.

Further more I really enjoyed the stuffed courgettes flowers! The filling with feta is so flavorful and the courgettes are perfectly fried.

If you ever go there definitely get the apple anari from the desserts. Is undoubtedly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had in a restaurant.

I am looking forward to visiting the restaurant again to try some of their meat...

26/7/2025 UPDATE: Gave this restaurant a second chance, but it didn’t live up to expectations. We found a piece of plastic in the food and informed the waiter, but no one came back to apologize or explain what it was. They also didn’t offer to remove the dish from the bill, which was the least they could have done.

8/3/2025 The food was really, really good, no complaints there! However, the service was frustrating. Our reservation was from 7:00 to 9:00, but from 8:30 onwards, a different waiter came over every minute asking if we had finished—even though there was still food on the table. The first three times, I said we weren’t finished, but by the fourth time, I just gave up and said we were done, even though my cutlery wasn’t in the finished position.

To be fair, the waiters were very polite, but it felt like they weren’t communicating with each other at all. There should be one waiter assigned per table or at least some coordination so guests aren’t constantly interrupted.

It’s a shame because the food was fantastic, but the service made it hard to fully enjoy...

We just LOVED Sentio! I wanted to go to this place without even knowing its name - it looks so attractive from the street! And then it turned out we've booked a dinner just there :)

The food was fantastic, every single dish, whether vegetables, or fish, or meat was just on point. The options are mixed with both local and international flavour. The staff were courteous and friendly, doing their job with ease. There was a slight gap in service a bit later at night, but they addressed it without us even pointing it out.

Good selection of local and foreign wines.

Prices are adequate for such restaurant

It was full from 8pm onwards till closing time, while other places around were almost empty. Advance reservation will be a smart choice after summer is over.
