No communication or welcome on arrival, left to sit around for 30-45 minutes in the cold, with no option to purchase a drink - unclear if I was even in the right place and everytime you tried to speak to staff they ignored you. This set a miserable tone for what should have been a fun evening.
The boat decor in the cabin we were put in was less than desirable, outdated and like out of an old dirty pub - which is weird as the deck below was actually beautiful.
No audio or guide to highlight the key highlight buildings on the tour. They offer a audio guide via QR code, but you have to figure this out yourself as no one communicates, and if you don’t start it straight away when the tour starts, you have no chance of following it correctly so this was redundant when I found it after 20 minutes!
Cruise along river was peaceful, couldn’t see much out of the window so unless you take the initiative to go on deck (isn’t clear this is an option) you won’t really see anything, especially as you spend about 20-30 minutes in a lock changing water levels so can only see a wall.
The buffet was ok, mostly ham to slice yourself, nice potatoes then fried food, mushy veg and low effort cheese plate / desserts - the lady putting the buffet on was very rude and not welcoming.
The waiter was polite, but not welcoming - he also forgot our drinks order and left us waiting for 20 minutes.
A random man was hired with an instrument who just sat in a corner playing overly loud, and occasionally shouting random stuff at people which didn’t create a good atmosphere despite his efforts.
All in all, I would avoid as this feels like a money grab which is a shame - I paid less for better events that offered unlimited alcohol, much better food, atmosphere and a sense the people hosting actually...

It's probably best if you buy the ticktes directly from them (Prague boats) and not online. At least for us is was not a pleasent experience, as we booked the trip on their external online provider. It looks that the databases are not synched or they just want to sell as many tickets as possible as all the boats are full. We paid online only to find out at boarding that they are already full and we can not take the tour with prosecco (even though you can buy it on board for 4€ / glass...) once we asked how this was possible the young lady at the desk sugested to take it with the online platform as we bought the tickets from them.
All in all, buy the tickets for your tour in advance 1-2 days directly from them, and make sure to be in time of maybe 15-20min in advance in order to choose the upper deck if you want the full view, although the upper deck might become overcrowded once the ship...
Read moreWe got this River cruise free as part of the hop on hop off bus tour. We cancelled our already booked River cruise with a different company to go on this one instead as it worked out cheaper on the deal with the bus tour. Don't expect too much on this River cruise. The bar is rubbish and the selection is small. Up on the top deck there are no fixed seats like I was expecting, but metal chairs around the perimeter of the boat. The tour is advertised as taking 1 hour but we spend 40 minutes going down the river and 10 parking at the end. You get to see some nice views such as passing under the Charles bridge, passing by the government buildings and a view of the castle. The tour language included English which was nice but the information they have was uncaptivating. Altogether I don't think this River cruise is anything to complain about but its certainly not anything special and other companies cruises are likely...
