Chabad of Prague - מרכז חב״ד פראג — Attraction in Prague

Nice to have Chabad in Prague. Shabath ambience on Friday night's meal was great as well as on Shabath Saturday's noon. The food was nice and good (but I can't say amazing). However, prices at Chabad Prague are extremely expensive !!! And it really frustrated me to pay 300 € !!!! Just for 2 (two) meals for Shabath for 2 adults and 2 kids. It should not be so expensive and I'm sure it cause many people not to come over because of the prices. In fact, I have a friend who was in Prague just recently and didn't choose Chabad due to prices (he chose Dinitz). Moreover, Chabad Prague consider a 12 years old child as an adult ! Prices at the grill restaurant are also extremely expensive. We paid more than 2000 CZK which is almost 80 € for just 4 sandwiches and 2 French fries.

Due to prices, I wouldn't recommend going there. Go to King Solomon kosher, or to King David kosher Hotel. Or to Dinitz (once it reopens around Oct.2021). Bottom line you don't get value for what you pay for Shabath Meals or for Grill restaurant.

On a good note, the Dairy U-Milo kosher restaurant of Chabad is tasty (especially Pizza and Antipasti vegetables) with decent and reasonable prices. I wish Shabath meal prices could have been close to the dairy restaurant.

You expect Czech Republic to be cheaper. And not more expensive than Chabad Miami south Beach ... or...

Chabad of Prague is a warm and welcoming community that made our visit truly memorable. The Shabbat meals were absolutely amazing, offering delicious and hearty food in a lively and friendly atmosphere. It was a joy to share these meals with so many amazing people from around the world.

One of the highlights of our experience was meeting new friends from various places, all brought together by the sense of community and shared values that Chabad fosters. The hospitality and kindness we encountered made us feel right at home, even though we were far from our own.
