Dalle Valle presents itself as a wide and varied buffet, but the overall experience reveals inconsistent execution and a focus on quantity over quality.
Main dishes The fish, likely pollock, is crispy and flavorful, though clearly frozen and fried. The roasted potatoes are one of the strongest items: well-seasoned, served with a creamy white sauce, and genuinely enjoyable. The orange-colored couscous is interesting and seasoned, though the use of coloring agents is evident.
On the other hand, the chow mein is outright bad: cold, oily, and unjustifiable in its condition. The Caesar-style salad fails with excessive grease and artificial flavors. The eggs taste fake, the pork bacon is tasty but too tough, the pancakes are industrial, cold, and dry around the edges. The American-style bacon is particularly poor: overcooked, hard, and nearly inedible.
Pizza There are three options, all with similar flaws. The dough lacks fermentation and sticks to the mouth. The ham pizza uses flavorless, low-quality ham, though the result is not entirely disastrous. The beef pizza offers an acceptable combination, but the meat is poorly distributed and lacks balance.
Fruit, cheese, and desserts The chocolate pudding is overly foamy and completely artificial. The camembert, though large and soft, lacks character. Among the fruit, the grapes stand out with a peculiar and pleasant profile, but the pears are unacceptable: green, hard, and flavorless.
Conclusion Dalle Valle in Copenhagen offers a few highlights (roasted potatoes, couscous, grapes), but most dishes reveal careless preparation, reliance on industrial products, and poor quality control. It is a buffet that delivers variety but fails to provide a consistent or memorable...
Read moreThis review is to the owner of this place. Horrible experience. I 9non-danish) went alone for dinner. The waitress was rude and not even interested in taking my order. She was so hesitant to even listen to my questions. I first ordered the buffet and asked if i can order the drinks later and she said ok. Later half way through my meal I asked if they have non-alcoholic pina colada . She said yes and I asked her to bring me one. She said ok and just left. I sat there for 30 mins waiting for the drink. My table was literally opposite to the billing counter and near the bar. She forgot my order somehow. She saw me sit idle at the table so many times and still didn't bother to check if I needed something. After 30 mins I got irritated and went to the billing counter to see if I can get my drink but the waitress who took my order disappeared. Then an other waitress (who was not Danish for sure and her name is fatema I think) was kind enough to check my order and said the previous waitress forgot to add the drink to the order. She apologized and said she could get me the drink but since I was already irritated, I just got the bill. I don't know if the first waitress was racist or a lazy, careless and lousy person. I am paying the same amount like the other white customers. Why do you have to treat non-white people so differently ? If you are so uncomfortable with non-white and non-danish people, why the heck do you even work in a restaurant industry ? Shame on the waitress ! Shame ! And the food wasn't even that good. Tasteless, bland and lukewarm buffet. The prices are high and the food is terrible. Looks like they are charging you for the vibe of the location. Terrible terrible terrible !!!!!!! I would give zero...
Read moreThe choice of buffet for the day and evening is pretty good. It has 2 kinds of buffet, without or with drinks. The waiters and waitresses are nice. But here are some points that decrease the service level:
small choice of fruits and desserts, especially during the evening buffet. the app can't be downloaded for Androids, as it's too old, and you can't get the coupon which they promote at the entrance. partners' coupons are a lie. They didn't update their partners about increased prices, so tourists will be disappointed a little bit about the price and the last one, disappointment from my experience, the manager didn't accept the coupon from the partner stating that they already have "decreased prices", but it's not true, as the prices are different from those which are on coupons, plus, he stated that the coupon is only for the specific offer (but nothing was stated in the coupon, even with small letters)
The 1st coupon, attached, the prices are different from what they have, for example the evening buffet costs 169 DKK, but not 149. The 2nd coupon from the Cabinn City partner has the same wrong prices, plus they didn't accept this coupon too, because of the reason I've already described.
The idea is good, especially for tourists, but unfortunately, this place is a kind...
