This restaurant isn’t super big, but it’s cozy and seems really popular with the locals. I decided to give it a try and ordered the mussels. They were really tasty and came in a huge portion, definitely enough for two people to share.
I also tried the roast pork, which was crispy pork belly. The flavor was on the salty side, and the skin was super crispy. I’ve honestly never had pork like this before. It was delicious, but a bit too fatty for me, so it got a little heavy after a while.
And of course, you can’t come here without trying the draft beer. It was really good and went perfectly with the food. The staff were friendly and paid attention to customers, which made the whole experience even better.
Prices are what you’d expect for Copenhagen, not cheap, but fair for the quality. Worth checking out if...

Being 1 Brit and a Scottish man looking for a good pint, we decided to pop in here. Wow. Amr, his brother and his team are insane. With traditional Danish dishes, a fantastic selection of drinks, we were in heaven. Reasonably priced compared to other parts of the city, so much actually, that we actually came twice during our trip! Lunch is from 11-4pm and it's open very late, has a very good family feel. If you're in Copenhagen (especially as a Brit), pop in here, you wont be disappointed. The two brothers and the team (the girls and Stephan) go above and beyond what customer service actually is, this is the first place I will return to when I am back in this city. The chefs doing an outstanding job too. Top work, I am sad to...
Read moreBack in Copenhagen after visiting Sweden, I wandered through the central streets and ended up at the famous Axelborg Bodega. Known for its truly amazing crispy pork with an “eat as much as you can” offer... though I couldn’t manage that much 😂.
Tried to book online but it was fully reserved, so I walked in hoping for luck. The place was packed, but a kind waitress found me a spot and warned the food might take 40 minutes. I didn’t mind, just happy to relax in the evening.
The food was fantastic, especially the pork dishes. I also tried their Viking beer, but it wasn’t really my taste. 😅
Overall, a great spot to relax. Highly recommended if you love porky dishes! ✌️10/10.
