I visited the Estonian Handicraft house as an Estonian-American visiting Tallinn for the first time. My goal was to purchase traditional Estonian clothing to wear in the 2019 Laulupidu Song Festival. Our American shoir in Seattle was invited to participate. Not knowing what to select, I can only speak highly of the expert sales staff in the store. They helped me slect the correct white linen Estonian shirt, a proper Estonian brooch to wear to partially close the neck opening in the shirt, a wool sweater vest that used a pattern from Viljandis in Estonia, and a black wool hat.
Each of these articles of traditional clothing were not inexpensive, but they were of high quality. I am happy that I purchased them here, and will ear them at special performances of our Seattle Estonian choir back...
