So here's my feedback! This is going on trip advisor too. Pls dont go to this restraunt looking at 3.8 rating. Trust me anything is possible on internet. So here's our experience. The lady (owner of La Florenza) looked at us waiting outside their restraunt to check in for lunch with kids, made a hand gesture from inside 'no availability' (so no greeting, or no options to ask if we would like to Dine in or takeaway) and then comes outside to say in french all the tables are reserved and leaves.. This is when the whole restaunt was empty! Then comes another guy who calls that lady his wife and says 'sorry' we cannot allow u inside as there is no place to keep the kids strollers. While none of them asked for our options on what we would like to do as if they just dint want us around. When confronted about the lady's behaviour, he said she doesnt understand the "language". (but she just told us there is no availability and no other conversation)
With kids being hungry, we decided to sit anyhow forgetting about the unpleasent start but it doesnt stop here. The pizza ordered was served with cold artichots right out of the pickle bottle on top of hot pizza. We live in Paris since 10 years and never came across such rude, good for nothing restraunt to have 0 customer service and border line racist. Oh by the way tip to identify this restraunt, the only restraunt with empty tables during peak hour turning away their only hope to survive customers. -...
Read moreSent away for not ordering “enough food”. My husband and I came by around 8:30pm and there were many tables available. We were seated immediately and ordered a glass of wine, a cheese plate, and a sorbet dessert. The waitress took our order but returned 5 min later apologizing and informing us that we must order two pizzas to be served. She spoke English well but I thought I had misunderstood her so we clarified but we heard right. She apologized a couple more times but did not waver from her, "you MUST order 2 pizzas in order to eat here." If this was a real, set in stone policy, the waitress would've known immediately and informed us while we were ordering instead of putting the order in, discussing it with someone most likely in the kitchen, and THEN coming back to us minutes later. Interesting approach - turning away business like...
Read moreI can't imagine anyone coming here.. was very hungry and hence caved at the first restaurant I saw that was open. DO NOT COME HERE. the food was exceptionally expensive, when I asked what the person at the next table was having, the waiter told me it was something, but when I ordered it was something else.... basically pointed me to the most expensive dish and said oh it's that. not to mention, another waiter kept telling me to wait, but wasn't even serving customers, just chatting with other staff. chef saw my frustration and kept telling this waiter off.
one of the people serving went into the kitchen to make pizza at some point, he DID NOT wash his hands.
pizza was completely tasteless, and just covered in oil, burrata was not creamy and soft, mostly solidified..
I repeat DO NOT COME HERE.
just stay way from this god awful...
