Ten Chi — Restaurant in Paris

I met my long lost friend in front of this lovely mom and pop shop with my family. We went inside and found a table without reservation which is nice considering the time we at which we wanted to eat was around 3 and most restaurants take a break from serving. The miso soup was delicious because they didn't cheap out on the mushrooms, tofu, and seaweed. The salad was amazing because it tasted like fresh coleslaw with vinaigrette sauce. I got the bento box which was a good because you get the most bang for your buck. I got to know the owner a bit because he sat down and talked to us. The restaurant was open for ten years and he has been in Paris for 28 years. His wife is the server and he even has his second youngest son working as a server aswell. It brings me great joy to see hard working Chinese French families because it reminds me of my mother and how she came to Canada with nothing and with hard and dedication she opened up her own restaurant/bar. Real mom and pop shop. Please go eat there true soul food! I know it's not a authentic Japanese restaurant but the food is still pretty damn good...

Friendliness: The owner was really friendly and welcoming during our visit. Spoke to us in mandarin and chatted with us throughout our visit there. Had a really enjoyable experience. Quality: The food was great and perfect for cold weather. The beef udon was not too salty, and their sashimi was fresh. Service: The service is fast and we were not left waiting a long time for our food. The owner even offered us more salad and soup when he saw that we had finished ours.

Absolutely adored this hidden gem. My friends and I found this place while looking for something to eat and stumbled upon this sushi restaurant. The waiters and waitresses are absolutely the sweetest and I enjoyed talking with them. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, I suggest getting the meal combos because they come with both sushi, yakitori, miso soup, and a salad. This place is definitely one of my favorite places and I will be visiting again whenever I come back to Paris...
