L'Appartement Sézane — Local services in Paris

Horrible experience. I have no idea who has time and patience to actually shop there, plus the overall negative attitude toward turist customers was way below any standard. I love Sezane style and wanted to buy something for a very long time. Probably, I would go ahead and buy something online, but since I was in Paris, it was a good opportunity to check and try it in person. The first thing you notice is that the store has a very limited selection of items. On top of it, only limited pieces and sizes are actually hanging on racks or are available for customers to try. If you are lucky and your size is there you can take it and head to the fitting room, if not you have to grab attention of the staff and ask to bring it to you and than you wait wait wait. Oh, if you are lucky, they will bring it to you or they will forget about you... just like that. I asked for a shirt in my size, although there was stack of shirts high on the shelf the guy didn't even try to look for my size there he said he will go and check in their storage... he never went to check and never came back to tell me if they have my size or not. There is a big wall full of neatly folded colorful sweaters and shirts, and it's behind the cashier counter ! Nowhere in the store will you find a hanging piece that you can at least see and refer to ... nope, you have to ask for every single item to be handed to you. Overall, this was the worst in- store buying experience that ever happened to me. My humble advice to Sezane management is that the staff should be more interested in taking care of customers instead of making sure that hangers are spaced evenly or making ideal stacks of clothes. It's not a museum or an art gallery it's JUST a store, with beautiful items but...

A wonderful store - ruined by one staff member.

We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and even offered lemonade, which was a lovely touch. The store itself has a beautiful concept – everything looks great, and the clothing selection is really appealing. I also appreciated that they limit the number of customers inside, which made the experience feel calm and well-organized.

Unfortunately, our visit was completely ruined by the extremely rude behavior of one staff member toward my little sister, who is only 11 years old. She wanted to take a pair of pants from a shelf, and there was a stool in front of it. In any regular store, it's normal for customers to help themselves, and there were no signs saying otherwise. So she stepped onto the stool to reach the pants – and suddenly a woman from the staff came over and said in a sharp, unfriendly, and loud voice (almost word for word): “Excuse me, excuse me, I will give it to you, okay?!”

This behavior towards a child was incredibly condescending and unnecessarily harsh. It made us feel so uncomfortable that we left the store immediately.

I was very disappointed with the way the staff treated me. If I could put 0 stars would be more representative of the communication and service there.

I WAS a huge fan of sezane, and always wanted to enter the store and buy their clothes. I finally made it inside, and I was so excited to try a sweater.

I was in front of a giant wall of sweaters. Apparently there was a place that I shouldn’t get close to, but I didn't know. There was on the left side of it a free space to get close.

So I did get close to a pink sweater. I touched the sweater and was met with scolding attitude and arrogance from the staff, telling me I am not supposed to touch anything, and I should stay aback, waiting for the staff to hand me the clothes if I wanted to try. It made me feel so ashamed and in response I asked the price of the item. And the person servicing me was so annoyed that I asked it, took so long to find it, and to tell me. All that experience made me to literally turn around, head to the door, and leave. I have never entered the store again, and every desire I had about purchasing anything from Sezane, is completely utterly...
