This review is for the the draw system of kith.eu. When you enter a draw for a limited product on their app they pre-charge/authorize the amount, so the amount is blocked on your card. That's ok and it is the trend lately with other stores as well. The problem with Kith is that they are US based, so this money authorization is not done by them directly, but by Global-e, which they use to support their business overseas. Now, what happens is that few days after the initial authorization, Global-e is actually going to charge your card for real. So your money will be gone from your bank account even when you lose the draw! If you think: "I got charged, so I won the draw" you will be sorely disappointed. This is a fraudolent system, because they take your money without fulfilling the order that you paid. You will have to wait for them to issue you a refund, which can then take several extra days to become effective. In this timeframe you are basically lending your money to Kith. And, just like you, thousands of people who entered the draw with you. The draw conditions that you can read in the confirmation email of the draw are basically a plain lie: "Your raffle entry for KITH EU has been received. At this time, your card has solely been authorized. If you are selected as a winner, your payment will be captured through Global-e, our global fulfillment partner as Merchant of Record. If you are not selected, the authorization will be removed from your account. Please note, depending on your banking institution, your funds will be available in about 5 business days." This is a lie, because it's not going to be "solely an authorization", but the payment is going to be captured regardless. You are going to be charged for real and you will have to wait longer to get your money back. 1 star also to the customer support, that is going to reply to you all the way from New York (they can't speak English in France?): no apologies whatsoever from them, they'll just suggest you to...
Read moreI have been a Kith devotee since the first drop ever came online. I have always loved the brand for their quality and unexpected collabs. Recently the brand raised their prices a couple of times, which already kinda felt like a middle finger to the fans but after visiting Kith Paris I'm done with the brand. It's clear Ronnie Fieg has turned this into the LV or Gucci of streetwear, attracting an abnoxious and filthy rich customer base. Most customers were extremely rude to the staff and other shoppers and so the ambience was not nice. The quality of the clothes is still great, the shop is absolutely beautiful and the lunchroom Sadelle's has friendly staff who work really hard to tend to your needs. But again, I'm done. KITH has gone from one of the greatest streatwear brands to a luxury monstrosity. I'm very disappointed and will be focusing on other brand...
Read moreThe customer service is so bad. The shoe sales associate was so rude; he talked to me like I’m dumb. I bought 550€ shoes, and they broke within two months. I had the receipt and told him my problem. He said that after 14 days, you cannot return them. I work in retail myself for two years, and I was so frustrated because he didn’t understand the difference between a return and an actual refund because the item broke. I just knew he was not the right person to talk to, so I went to another employee who was downstairs, and he was much more helpful. He suggested me a solution, not like the other short king in the shoe shop. I have no words for this man, and I just know that he is not happy with his size or his life. Maybe he realizes that you should be nice to the customers. I really hope your manager is reading this and puts you...
