I recently visited the Loro Piana store in Faubourg and had a very disappointing experience. I initially went on a Thursday and met a very nice gentleman (Christ Jadore) who informed me that new loafers would be available on Monday morning, as they receive deliveries on that day. He offered me other sneakers, but I decided to return on Monday to purchase everything together.
On Monday, September 16th, before my flight to Dubai at 3 PM, I went to the store around 12:20pm. I asked the lady downstairs if I could see the loafers and she directed me upstairs. When I got there, I found three staff members gathered in the middle of the floor, talking amongst themselves with the shoes behind them. They did not acknowledge me or offer assistance. When I asked to see the loafers, I was abruptly told, "We have nothing."
It was disheartening not to see the nice gentleman from my previous visit, and the staff's dismissive attitude made me feel unwelcome. They shut me down without offering any alternatives, making me feel small and unimportant. I was very unhappy with their customer service and will not be purchasing from this branch again. I might consider returning only if the gentleman who helped me initially is available. Otherwise, I prefer the friendly service at branches in Italy and Dubai.
I understand that having a strong profile is important to be offered loafers. However, for me to build more or to purchase more, I need them to be friendly so I can actually build my profile and buy more. How are we going to build a strong profile if you are shutting the doors on our faces and treating us like beggars?
I intended to buy a loafer and a bag, but I decided against purchasing the bag from this branch after witnessing...
Read moreEntered the store and I was barely acknowledged by staff or sales associates. After browsing around and waiting for 15-30 minutes i decided to adress a sales associate with the question about the summer walks just to be snubbed off that the only sizes/models available are the ones standing on display, which is very strange given that these specifically stated ‘display only’.
The rude approach was enough for me to leave, sadly to read now that other people experienced the same, and that Loro Piana Paris uses this excuse to not deal with people?
Frankly, i was looking forward to going to a physical store and finally knowing my size with Loro Piana to buy multiple pairs. Is this how you want your brand represented?
I had way better expectations from a boutique like this, and the fact that this is being done and is kept being done is just horrible.
I expect an adequate response or I will personally contact chain Manager of France/Emea together with all the experiences described...
Read moreI was spooked by the recent negative reviews and almost skipped shopping at this store. I am very glad I stopped by on Sunday September 24th. My wife and I were immediately greeted at the door and asked what we were interested in seeing. I was told the men’s sweater I was interested in (the Lima quarter zip) was upstairs and her colleague would be happy to assist me. Upstairs I was immediately greeted by Rabah Moktari who pleasantly and professionally found the sweater I was interested in. Rabah showed me to the fitting room to try it on, and with great good cheer he rang up the purchase and completed the VAT refund paperwork. It was the perfect experience that I hoped for. Really, the experience was the best shopping experience we have had during this, our fifth, trip to Paris. Bravo...
